Fish and Loaves is the the largest facility of its kind in the Metro Detroit area. Hundreds of volunteers dedicate their time and talents - over 25,000 volunteer hours in 2025 to accomplish the organization's mission of "Ensuring No One Goes Hungry." In 2025, Fish & Loaves distributed over 3.5 million pounds of food and served over 90,000 individuals.

Saturday Fresh Markets

Fish & Loaves hosts Saturday Fresh Markets 3 times a month (closed the 3rd Satruday & holidays) from 9 am - 12 pm. An average of 800 families come through the mobile distribution as volunteers distribute 20-25 pounds of fresh produce and milk eo each.

The program is open to individuals or families in need, regardless of residency or income.

Pantry Volunteers

Pantry volunteers handle client direction throughout the pantry, bagging groceries, and restocking shelves. May include lifting 15-20lbs.
