Wateraid America Inc

WaterAid transforms lives by improving access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities. We work with local partners and influence decision-makers to maximise our impact.

When we first visited the Totcomana School in La Guajira, Colombia the students had no access to clean drinking water and no safe place to use the bathroom. This resulted in missed days of school due to illnesses caused by contaminated water.

Things have changed now, and that’s thanks to supporters like you and the incredible WaterAid country program teams! Thanks to everyone that supported our ‘Let Kids Learn’ project 29 schools in Nicaragua and Colombia will now have clean water, sanitation and hygiene education.

Totcomana was the first school to have these three essential elements. Learn more about the project. https://www.wateraid.org/us/let-kids-learn

Walk for Water

Walk for Water is a challenge for employees to walk or move further than usual, in solidarity with those who carry the water burden. The challenge is also a chance to celebrate World Water day, held in March. A global day to recognize how far we have come in solving the water crisis, and to raise awareness about the much-needed solution – clean water for everyone, everywhere.
