To bridge the gap in Minnesota between research and practice in the field of aging, with special emphasis on developing and supporting tomorrow's leaders. To provide and exchange information related to research and practice in gerontology among diverse disciplines in the State of Minnesota, through conferences, webinars, newsletters and networking,with a focus on developing young professional leaders in the field of aging. Activities include an annual conference, webinars, newsletters, special projects linking practice with research, support network of gerontology educators and scholarships to students in gerontology.
