Treasure House Of Hope helps to pull treasures out of darkness through love, hope and compassion. We train individuals to live a disciplined lifestyle based on biblical teachings.
Coming from an 11 year addiction and nearly losing my entire family, I knew I had to do something different with my life. It has taken a lot of hard work and discipline on my part, but my life has been changed and my family restored. I graduated the one year discipleship program and have since moved back home with my family. I look forward to waking up everyday with purpose and I know God has a great plan for my future.
6 days a week we have groups that target substance abuse, relapse prevention, anger management, healthy coping skills, and mental health. Our participants are trained in living a disciplined lifestyle based on biblical teachings.
5 days of the week our participants are involved in our Treasure Bread ministry. 4 days they are in the community and 1 day in the commercial kitchen. This teaches them life skills, financial responsibility, and healthy social behavior.
We bake 500-600 loaves of banana, pumpkin, and zucchini breads each week. Being a self-sufficient organization, this is how we are able to keep our program running.
April 25, 2020 will be our 5th annual event where we give away free clothing, hygiene, and lunch bags to individuals living on East Colfax.
