Advancing Creatives

Advancing Creatives is CBCA’s artist professional development and business skills education programming. Through Advancing Creatives, CBCA hosts, coordinates and partners with speakers and organizations to build the entrepreneurial skills, business know-how, and professional capacity of Colorado’s creative workforce.

Advocacy

Advocacy is speaking up for something you believe in. At CBCA, we believe that art is smart for business; that the creative industries are essential to Colorado’s economic prosperity; and that cultural vibrancy strengthens community vitality.

CBCA engages in ongoing community education to advance these beliefs and foster a network of arts supporters in the business and civic sectors. CBCA also brings awareness and influences decision makers on policies and initiatives locally, statewide and nationally that advance the mutually beneficial relationship between arts and business.

Colorado Attorneys for the Arts

Colorado Attorneys for the Arts (CAFTA) is a pro bono legal referral service connecting artists, performers, cultural organizations and creative business to volunteer attorneys. CAFTA also offers educational presentations, webinars, consultation clinics and resources.

Leadership Arts

For over 25 years, CBCA has built a pipeline of leaders in the arts through Leadership Arts. This unique nine-month program prepares people to serve on nonprofit boards of directors and increase their civic engagement in the arts. The Leadership Arts curriculum focuses on building the necessary skills to be an effective volunteer leader and exploring relevant topics in Colorado’s arts sector.
