Tony Laudadio Foundation falls under the Fund Raising & Fund Distribution category: Organizations that raise and distribute funds for multiple organizations within the Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking Foundations major group area.
My name is Tony Laudadio, I am a husband and father to 3 daughters, and I have cancer. I was first diagnosed in my 20's, July of 2013, with renal cell carcinoma and a very large tumor. It caused me to lose my right kidney and forced me out of work for several months. I thought I was well on my way to recovery and potentially ringing the bell (sort of a fun cancer free ritual they do at MD Anderson) when I unexpectedly had my first two seizures. On September 24, 2015, I was diagnosed with a second, completely unrelated cancer — brain cancer.
That’s why he and good friend Scott Patterson created the Tony Foundation: to provide financial assistance to help meet immediate, existing needs for families whose primary income earners, in their most productive years, have been diagnosed with cancer and are unable to continue employment.
We accomplish this by:
1. Identifying critical needs for families in crisis due to cancer diagnosis
2. Filling a financial gap for cancer patients, primarily aged 25-55, who help provide for a family/multiple dependents
3. Providing financial assistance to qualifying families
4. Connecting families with other programs and resources for support
Now is the time to help make a difference for families that need it the most. Please help support us in our mission as we aim to ease some of the stress and burden facing families in crisis as they begin to navigate a new journey with cancer. You can help by donating, staying in touch with us by subscribing to our email updates, sharing our website with your friends and colleagues, or getting involved in our events and fundraisers.
Together, we can help!
Thank you!
Tony
Cancer brings about struggles physically, mentally, emotionally, and often times most of all FINANCIALLY. As a two time cancer fighter starting in my 20’s, I know that many cancer fighters diagnosed in the midst of their working careers, do not have a budget/Financial plan for the tough and unexpected road ahead or treatments, surgeries, and trips to the clinics, while being unable to continue their employment.
Please join us on Friday, November 11, 2022, for our Inaugural San Antonio Golf Tournament for Tony Foundation @ Brackenridge Golf Course in San Antonio
Texas Rangers Golf club has hosted us the last two years and we are delighted to go back in March of 2023 to help raise funds for cancer fighters that need your help now!
