Our Mission
To enrich the lives of seniors and homebound adults in the South-Metro Denver area by providing nutritious meals and services that promote dignity, well-being and independence.
Nourish Meals on Wheels (formerly TLC Meals on Wheels) has delivered meals to seniors in south metro Denver since 1968 when our founder, Virginia C. Baker began preparing meals in her home kitchen and delivering them to her neighbors in Littleton. As a well-established, independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our delivery area covers over 95 square mile area in western Arapahoe and southeastern Jefferson Counties.
Over the past 54 plus years, Nourish MoW transitioned from a “home grown” somewhat informal community program to an efficiently run professional non-profit, without sacrificing the personal touch our founder extolled. We aim to support our clients by helping them maintain their independence and remain living in their own home as long as possible.
We currently are delivering more than 2700 meals each week, 500+ hot, nutritious meals a day, 340 frozen meals each weekend, and 226 bags of supplemental groceries monthly to 95 square miles of south metro Denver

Testimonials
“I don’t know what I would be doing right now if it wasn’t for Nourish. It’s not just a meal to feed my body it feeds my soul. Being remembered, makes my life better. The food is very good, and very nutritious. I tell you the Chef is primo.” — Ortencia
"It is not an exaggeration to say that Nourish helped save my life. Cooking healthful meals when I am unable to do so adequately or safely. Also, knowing MOW is coming is a daily reason to get dressed, look presentable and thank the extraordinarily kind people that contribute their time and energy to bring "home cooked" food to me. It makes me feel human, dignified and thankful. I thank you more than words can say."
“I was a plumber until the floor collapsed out from under me one day. I was in a coma for 6 months and it took me another 6 months to learn how to walk and talk again. After a steady diet of canned chili and ramen noodles, I developed diabetes. After just a few weeks of your great meals my nurses were happy, my blood sugars were down, and I feel healthier.” — Ty
"I was hesitant when I started but have discovered how little I was eating on my own. I am more engaged with family and neighbors-my daughter told me how much better I look & interact with family. I am grateful."
"What a great organization! Your volunteer people are absolutely great. They all treat me as if was an old friend. . . These wonderful people seem to understand my position and they treat me like a king. I love them all. Thank you!"
“I anxiously await the arrival of Mom’s meals because I get a dog treat from the volunteer drivers.” — Sam-E “I absolutely love the meals, but I think Sam-E looks forward to the delivery even more than me!” — Patti (Mom)
