To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through our 9,000+ volunteers, we equip students K-12 with financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship education.
Colleen Jennings-Roggensack participated in JA’s Company program, allowing students to start and run an entrepreneurial business after their school hours. She and her JA associates developed a business where they created, canvased, and sold wall hangings and peace signs to members of their community. Through learning about business plan creation, return on investment, and establishing territories, Colleen was able to develop the critical thinking and teamwork skills necessary for success in her future.

JA Inspire
JA Inspire is a re-imagined, virtual career exploration fair that allows Arizona middle and high school students to explore the careers of the future and equip them with critical work readiness skills, ultimately preparing them for success.
The only program of its kind in Arizona, JA Inspire connects students to our state’s top industries and businesses via our on-demand virtual experience.
JA BizTown
Connecting the dots between what kids learn in school and how it’s applied in the real world isn’t that simple. That’s why we created JA BizTown®, an engaging, hands-on program that introduces 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to economic concepts, workplace skills, and personal and business finances in a student-sized town built just for them.
During their time at JA BizTown, students operate a simulated economy and take on the challenge of running businesses. Assisted by volunteer mentors, the students must make the hard and practical decisions to see their businesses thrive and succeed in their role, just like the real world.
