Empty Arms Vermont
Empty Arms Vermont provides peer support to those whose pregnancies have ended or babies have died through miscarriage, termination for medical reasons, or stillbirth. By cultivating personal connections, creating compassionate community, raising awareness and advocacy, we provide grieving parents with resources and validation as they navigate an uncertain future.
$250
Cost of 2 support group sessions: "Talking with others who have also experienced pregnancy or infant loss has allowed me to feel less isolated and alone in the aftermath. I feel a sense of belonging and community in group sessions that diminishes the loneliness I otherwise experience in grief.”
$150
Giving $150 per month for one year will fund one training for perinatal providers (nurses, doulas, midwives, therapists, etc). This training is dedicated to compassionate care at the bedside during the time of loss.
$100
Giving $100 per month for one year will fund one Remembrance Night. We hold this space for ~100 people to remember the babies we miss and honor a journey where grief and joy coexist. During the evening, we decorate luminarias, enjoy snacks and drinks, hear from community members, and engage in meaningful ways to remember together.
