THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION OF HAWAI'I (NKFH) IS TO PREVENT KIDNEY AND URINARY TRACT DISEASE, IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THIS DISEASE, AND INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF ALL ORGANS FOR TRANSPLANTATION IN HAWAI'I.NKFH CARRIES OUT ITS MISSION BY PROVIDING SERVICES FOR PATIENTS WITH KIDNEY DISEASE, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR PATIENTS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT KIDNEY DISEASE AND RELATED CHRONIC DISEASES, ADVOCATING FOR ACCESS TO HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CARE, AND PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT ORGAN AND TISSUE DONATION.
