To A Tea Inc.
To A Tea, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Augusta, Georgia in 2024. We deliver free skill-building workshops, artisan development, and generational youth and adult programming in communities across the Southeast — in the spaces where people already are. Our programs serve ages 8 through adult with no cost to participants, ever. We fund our work through grants, donations, and community partnerships. Everything we build is designed to turn everyday effort into economic power for the people we serve.
At our inaugural Skill Sharing Saturday in Augusta, Georgia, something quietly extraordinary happened at the sewing lane.
A volunteer whose name we never got arrived like everyone else. But she never moved on. For hours she stayed, teaching participant after participant how to sew. Patient, warm, and completely in her element, she turned a community table into a classroom without anyone asking her to.
She wasn't a program staff member. She wasn't on a schedule. She was a community member who showed up with a skill and gave it away freely. Which is exactly what To A Tea, Inc. exists to create space for.
