Wiki Development

Wiki Development is a recently established charity (UK charity no. 1161374) that aspires to improve the lives of people around the world. We believe the best way for us to achieve this is by supporting civil society to become as effective as possible.

While huge strides have been made to reduce poverty, increase access to education and healthcare, to increase gender equality, there is still a long way to go. We want to make it easier for development practitioners and organisations to hear about what others are doing.

We will achieve this by:

Creating a vibrant not for profit community who are incentivised to share, collaborate and support one another.

Ensuring this community has access to information and evidence of inspiring and practical examples of what works and what doesn’t by working with practitioners and organisations to share their experiences;

Strengthening the capacity of the community to generate inspiring and practical information and evidence of what works and what doesn’t by understanding what limits this from happening and helping overcome these challenges.
