"The organisation’s mission and vision is to strive for a sustainable environment through a robust and viable environmental awareness and advocacy in all the South African Communities and to ensure that South African environment contribute positively to the global environment.

The main objectives of EAASA are to advocate and raise awareness to the South African communities with regards to:

1. The causes and effects of pollution (viz, air, noise, water e.t.c), and climate change / global warming;

2. To draw up and implement environmental education programmes for South African communities;

3. Establish branches / and or centres of the organisation across South African communities in order to amplify and execute the objectives thereof as mentioned above."
