TO HONOR/CELEBRATE THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF EXTRAORDINARY AMERICAN WOMEN.

AN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO HONOR PUBLICLY THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF CONNECTICUT WOMEN, PRESERVE THEIR STORIES, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND INSPIRE THE CONTINUED ACHIEVEMENTS OF WOMEN AND GIRLS.

Women of the Corps Foundation falls under the Museums category: Organizations that acquire, preserve, research, exhibit and provide for the educational use of works of art, objects or artifacts that are related to the study of zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, geology and other natural sciences; history; archeology; or science and technology.

International Museum of Women falls under the Museums category: Organizations that acquire, preserve, research, exhibit and provide for the educational use of works of art, objects or artifacts that are related to the study of zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, geology and other natural sciences; history; archeology; or science and technology.

American Women Writers National Museum falls under the Museums category: Organizations that acquire, preserve, research, exhibit and provide for the educational use of works of art, objects or artifacts that are related to the study of zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, geology and other natural sciences; history; archeology; or science and technology.

Womens Basketball Hall of Fame falls under the Museums category: Organizations that acquire, preserve, research, exhibit and provide for the educational use of works of art, objects or artifacts that are related to the study of zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, geology and other natural sciences; history; archeology; or science and technology.

THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL LIBERTY SHIP MEMORIAL IS TO PRESERVE, FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS, THE STORY OF THE US MERCHANT MARINES, PATRIOTIC AND BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO BUILT, SAILED AND DEFENDED THE 2,751 AMERICAN-BUILT WORLD WAR II SHIPS KNOWN AS "LIBERTIES." THE MEMORIAL HAS RESTORED AND WILL CONTINUE TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN ONE OF THE LAST TWO OPERATING LIBERTY SHIPS, THE SS JEREMIAH O'BRIEN, AS A LIVING MUSEUM.

THE PIERRE CLAEYSSENS VETERANS FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED IN 2003 WITH A GOAL TO CELEBRATE THE "GREATEST GENERATION." SANTA BARBARA AND THE TRI-COUNTIES PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN WWII AND ITS MEN AND WOMEN HAVE A PROUD HISTORY OF SERVICE TO THE NATION. THE FOUNDATION HOLDS VARIOUS ALL VETERANS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO SUPPORT AND HONOR THE SOUTH COASTS VETERANS.

TO HONOR THE UNITED STATES MILITARY HISTORY AND THE MEN & WOMEN WHO HAVE HONORABLY SERVED

THE NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM AND HALL OF FAME HONORS AND CELEBRATES WOMEN, PAST AND PRESENT, WHOSE LIVES EXEMPLIFY THE COURAGE, RESILIENCE AND INDEPENDENCE THAT HELPED SHAPE THE WEST, AND FOSTERS AN APPRECIATION OF THE IDEALS AND SPIRIT OF SELF-RELIANCE THEY INSPIRE.
