PROMOTE VARIOUS CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY MARYLAND

THE PURPOSE OF THE LUBBOCK WOMEN'S CLUB HISTORICAL FOUNDATION IS TO PRESERVE, PROTECT, AND PROMOTE THE HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL CHARACTER AND HERITAGE OF BROADWAY, THE OVERTON NEIGHBORHOOD, THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF LUBBOCK THROUGH ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE MAINTENANCE OF THE BUILDING AT 2020 BROADWAY ("THE BUILDING"), LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, AND ALL GROUNDS AND PROPERTIES CURRENTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE BUILDING AND ANY THAT MAY BE ASSOCIATED IN THE FUTURE. FURTHER PURPOSE IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AS TO THE HISTORIC CHARACTER OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE ACQUISITION AND MAINTENANCE OF FURNISHINGS AND DECORATIVE ITEMS THAT ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THE COLONIAL REVIVAL STYLE BUILDING; PRESENTING EDUCATONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS CONCERNING THE BUILDING; AND ENABLING THE PUBLIC TO ACCESS THE BUILDING.

THE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION IS TO SAVE AND PRESERVE OUR NATION'S HISTORIC LIGHT STATIONS AND THEIR RICH HERITAGE. THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE RESTORATION, PROMOTION, AND ADAPTIVE RE-USE OF AMERICA'S HISTORIC LIGHT STATIONS, AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES THAT FOSTER THE SUSTAINABLE PRESERVATION OF LIGHTHOUSES AND PERPETUATE THE LEGACY OF THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE TENDED THEM.

WE ACTIVELY SUPPORT THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION IN THEIR QUEST TO PRESERVE HISTORY, PROMOTE EDUCATION, AND UNDERTAKE OTHER PATRIOTIC ENDEAVORS. WE PROMOTE AMERICAN HISTORY BY HONORING HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT PEOPLE, PLACES, DATES, AND EVENTS. WE SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE PATRIOTIC VALUES OF OUR COUNTRY, AND THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE IN THE ARMED FORCES OF OUR NATION.

THE NAVY MEMORIAL MISSION IS TO HONOR, RECOGNIZE AND CELEBRATE THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE SEA SERVICES AND THE IMPORTANT CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY THEM WHILE SERVING IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY, MARINE CORPS, COAST GUARD AND MERCHANT MARINE. THE NAVY MEMORIAL SERVES TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ABOUT THE VITAL ROLE THAT THE SEA SERVICES PLAY IN OUR NATIONAL SECURITY AND THE RICH MARITIME HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.

THE MASSACHUSETTS FALLEN HEROES MEMORIAL FUND WAS FOUNDED IN 2010 BY DECORATED COMBAT VETERANS, GOLD STAR FAMILIES AND BOSTON FIREFIGHTERS WITH THE GOAL OF ERECTING A PERMANENT MEMORIAL HONORING THE MEN AND WOMEN OF MASSACUSETTS WHO GAVE THE LAST FULL MEASURE OF DEVOTION TO OUR COUNTRY SINCE 9/11. THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS HAS DESIGNATED MASS FALLEN HEROES AS THE OFFICIAL ORGANIZATION CHARGED WITH THIS RESPONSIBILITY. MASS FALLEN HEROES KNOWS, HOWEVER, THAT TO TRULY HONOR THE FALLEN AND THEIR FAMILIES, WE MUST ALSO CARE FOR THEIR FELLOW VETERANS. OVER 44,000 MASSACHUSETTS MEN AND WOMEN HAVE RISEN TO MILITARY SERVICE SINCE THE TERRORIST ATTACKS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. TO SERVE OUR MASSACHUSETTS VETERANS AND FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN, MASS FALLEN HEROES PARTNERS WITH A NETWORK OF CIVILIAN, VETERAN AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EMPLOYMENT, MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.

ORGANIZED AS A NON PROFIT FOUNDATION TO HONOR MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The mission of the 640 Heritage Preservation Foundation is to preserve and celebrate the history, architecture and heritage of women's athletic clubs in San Francisco, with particular reference to the Women's Athletic Club of San Francisco, now known as the Metropolitan Club, through research, public education and funding activities.
