THE PURPOSE OF AMERICAN GASTROENTEROLOGICAL ASSOCIATION INSTITUTE, INC. IS TO ADVANCE AND FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF GASTROENTEROLOGY AND CLOSELY RELATED FIELDS OF STUDY, MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC BY PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND AID IN ALL ASPECTS OF THIS FIELD, INCLUDING PATIENT CARE, RESEARCH, TEACHING, CONTINUING EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION, AND MATTERS OF NATIONAL HEALTH POLICY PERTAINING TO GASTROENTEROLOGY.

THE DIGESTIVE HEALTH PHYSICIANS ASSOCIATION (DHPA) IS A TRADE ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT GASTROENTEROLOGY (GI) PHYSICIAN PRACTICES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH THE AIM OF PROMOTING AND PRESERVING ACCESSIBLE, HIGH QUALITY AND COST-EFFICIENT CARE PROVIDED IN THE INDEPENDENT GI MEDICAL PRACTICE SETTING. DHPA FOCUSES ON COLLECTING, BENCHMARKING, AND ANALYZING DATA RELEVANT TO INDEPENDENT GI MEDICAL PRACTICES. THE ASSOCIATION CAPITALIZES ON ITS MEMBER PRACTICES' DATA RESOURCES TO AUGMENT DHPA'S PUBLIC POLICY, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF INDEPENDENT GI PRACTICES AND THEIR PATIENTS. OUR MEMBERS CONTINUALLY STRIVE TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE AND OUTCOMES BY SUPPORTING HEALTHCARE POLICY THAT PROMOTES ACCESSIBLE, HIGH QUALITY AND COST-EFFICIENT MEDICINE IN THE INDEPENDENT GI MEDICAL PRACTICE SETTING.

NYCCO IS ORGANIZED TO CONDUCT, HAVE PUBLISHED, AND DISTRIBUTE RESEARCH, STUDIES, AND ANALYSIS RELATING TO IBD. TO THAT END, NYCCO SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE LEVEL OF CARE FOR PATIENTS IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA SUFFERING FROM IBD, THROUGH COLLABORATIVE AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AND IMPROVED COOPERATION AMONGST IBD CLINICIANS IN THE NEW YORK AREA. NYCCO CAN BETTER ACHIEVE THIS GOAL BY GENERATING PUBLIC INTEREST IN IMPROVING TREATMENTS OR FINDING A CURE FOR THE DISEASE.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY FOR SURGERY OF THE ALIMENTARY TRACT ARE; 1.) TO STIMULATE, FOSTER, AND PROVIDE SURGICAL LEADERSHIP IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PATIENT CARE; 2.) TO TEACH AND RESEARCH THE DISEASES AND FUNCTIONS OF THE ALIMENTARY TRACT; 3.) TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE PRESENTATION OF SUCH KNOWLEDGE; AND 4.) TO ENCOURAGE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES, FUNDING, AND SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS SUPPORTING THE FOREGOING ACTIVITIES.

The Foundation provides Psycho-social support to patients with IBD and their families. The organization serves hundreds of patients and their families.

The organization was established to advance scientific research on food and fluid intake and its associated biological, psychological and social processes.The Society provides a multidisciplinary environment for the free exchange of ideas and information, and serves as a resource for scientific expertise and education on topics related to the study of ingestive behavior.

THE HEREDITARY COLON CANCER FOUNDATION IS A REGISTERED 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SERVING THE HEREDITARY COLON CANCER COMMUNITY BY CONNECTING PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES WHILE PROMOTING REQUISITE RESEARCH AND HEALTH CARE INITIATIVES.
