ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION OF A RECREATIONAL ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE

THE GENERAL PURPOSE OF WHAM SHALL BE TO ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN AN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY FOR ITS MEMBERS; TO OPERATE, CONDUCT, MAINTAIN, AND PROMOTE AN INTEGRATED PROGRAM OF ORGANIZED WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY FOR THE BENEFIT OF WHAM'S MEMBERS; AND TO DO ALL SUCH THINGS AS MAY BE DEEMED NECESSARY, INCIDENTAL AND PERTINENT TO THE EFFECTUAL CARRYING ON OF SAID PURPOSES. TO THIS END, WHAM SHALL AT ALL TIMES BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY UNDER THE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(4) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS NOW ENACTED OR HEREAFTER AMENDED (THE "CODE"). ALL ASSETS AND FUNDS, WHETHER INCOME OR PRINCIPAL, AND WHETHER ACQUIRED BY GIFT OR CONTRIBUTION OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE DEVOTED TO SAID PURPOSES.

ALASKA GIRL'S AND WOMEN'S HOCKEY, INC. (AGWH) HAS BEEN FORMED TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF GIRLS AND WOMEN'S HOCKEY THROUGHOUT ALASKA.

THE WOMENS ICE HOCKEY PROGRAM HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES FOR WOMEN IN ARIZONA. THE HOCKEY PROGRAM PROVIDES A RECREATIONAL, THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION TO ITS PARTICIPANTS.

Tucson Womens Hockey League falls under the Winter Sports category: Organizations that provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

Stimulate and encourage interest in the sport of ice hockey, instruct and train young men and women in all aspects of the sport, develop their skating ability and encourage in all participants the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, team loyalty, courage, and fair play.

TEACH VOLLEYBALL SKILLS TO YOUNG WOMEN AND INSTILL THE CONCEPT OF TEAM PLAY UNDER COMPETITIVE CONDITIONS

STEEL CITY SELECTS GIRLS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN FORMED TO PROMOTE YOUNG WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY IN THE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AREA. ALTHOUGH YOUNG WOMEN CAN, AND DO, PLAY ICE HOCKEY IN CO-ED LEAGUES, YOUNG MEN'S LEAGUES AND HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUES, THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE YOUNG WOMEN TO ENHANCE THEIR SKILLS BY COMPETING IN WOMEN'S ONLY LEAGUES AND TOURNAMENTS BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.

TO PROVIDE YOUNG WOMEN AFFORDABLE COACHING TO HELP WITH THEIR DEVELOPMENT AS THEY ADVANCE IN THE SPORT OF HOCKEY
