Alliances & Advocacy

The Oregon Alliance is a dedicated champion and established voice in advocating for the safety health and well-being of children youth families and communities across Oregon. We are a diverse group of organizations serving Oregons kids and their families at home in school in residential settings and within the community.

To operate exclusively for the benefit of Young Horizons, a nonprofit corporation, to provide facilities and assistance for quality child care and preschool programs for children of low income families.

TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT, GROWTH, AND CONTINUATION OF THE MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH AND CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTERS FOR THE PROTECTION OF PENNSYLVANIA'S CHILDREN.

WE HELP CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN ABUSED, ASSAULTED, OR BEEN WITNESS TO A CRIME. THE CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER OF SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA IS A CHILD-FRIENDLY NONPROFIT CORPORATION CREATED TO MINIMIZE THE TRAUMA SUFFERED BY VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE

TO PROVIDE SPECIALIZED SERVICES TO CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL OR SEVERE PHYSICAL ABUSE AND THEIR NON-OFFENDING PARENT(S) OR CAREGIVER(S) TO ADDRESS THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS. THE CAC WILL ALSO STRIVE TO MEET THE COMMUNITY'S NEEDS IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION AND PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE. COORDINATION AND COOPERATION WITH OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES WILL BE FOREMOST IN IMPLEMENTING A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO ALL INVESTIGATIONS.

PUBLIC EDUCATION OF CHILDRENS NEEDS

THE CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER OF KANSAS (CACKS) IS COMMITTED TO SECURING APPROPRIATE RESOURCES FOR ENSURING THE HEALTHY ESTABLISHMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY OF KANSAS CHILD ADVOCACY CENTERS AND THE KANSAS CHAPTER. CACKS IS COMMITTED TO RAISING THE PUBLIC PROFILE OF THE CAC/MDT MODEL AT LOCAL AND STATEWIDE LEVELS. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO BEING A LEADER AND RESOURCE IN ACTIVELY PROMOTING STATE STATUTES, PARTNER AGENCY POLICIES AND OVERALL PRACTICES IMPACTING CHILD MALTREATMENT RESPONSE AND PREVENTION. CACKS IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING ESTABLISHED AND EMERGING CAC'S HAVE ACCESS TO RELEVANT, AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAININGOPPORTUNITIES.

PROVIDE PERMANENCE FOR FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE CHILD IN WASHINGTON.

TO CREATE AWARENESS AND PROVIDE EDUCATION ON THE BENEFITS OF LIVING IN A SOCIETY OF RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER.

THE DC ALLIANCE OF YOUTH ADVOCATES (DCAYA), FOUNDED IN 2004 AND STAFFED IN 2006, IS A CITYWIDE COALITION OF YOUTH-ENGAGED ORGANIZATIONS, YOUTH, AND CONCERNED RESIDENTS FORMED TO ENSURE THAT POLICIES, PROGRAMS, AND PRACTICES WITHIN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PROPEL YOUTH INTO SUCCESSFUL ADULTHOOD. ON JUNE 5, 2020, THE DC ALLIANCE OF YOUTH ADVOCATES MERGED WITH DC ACTION FOR CHILDREN.

The Haywood Burns Institute is a black-led national, non-profit with a diverse team of visionaries, working to transform the administration of justice by focusing on a community-centered approach to transformation, anchored in structural well-being.

WE EXIST TO GIVE HOPE, PROVIDE HEALING, AND ENSURE JUSTICE FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY.

BATON ROUGE CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER SERVES ABUSED CHILDREN AND THEIR NON-OFFENDING FAMILY MEMBERS. SERVICES INCLUDE FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, THERAPY SERVICES, AND A FAMILY ADVOCACY SUPPORT PROGRAM.

The Organization's mission is to provide a multidisciplinary collaboration of services for the purpose of prevention, intervention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse. This effort reduces the potential for additional trauma and promotes recovery for the child, victims and non-offending family members.

To empower Midcoast youth to be healthy, engaged, and resilient, by offering recreation, education & enrichment, leadership & life skills, referrals to mental health support & substance use treatment, and support to youth experiencing housing insecurity.

The Peacekeeper Society's mission is to provide life-changing opportunities for indigenous people.

EL GRUPO NORTE YOUTH CYCLING CHAMPIONS BIKES AND COMMUNITY THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT ENGAGE, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN. OUR PROGRAMS ARE ACCESSIBLE, YOUTH-CENTRIC, AND USE BICYCLES TO CREATE JOY, CONFIDENCE, INDEPENDENCE, ADVENTURE, AND STRONG COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS.

SAVE A GIRL SAVE A WORLD serves as a female multi-generational mentoring organization that encourages and inspires college and high school students to pursue professional and personal leadership.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, TO PERFORM RESEARCH AND PUBLISH RESOURCES USEFUL TO POLICY MAKERS AND OTHERS WORKING ON YOUTH-RELATED ISSUES AT THE LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL LEVELS.

The Trail Youth's mission is to remove negative labels for teens ages 13-19 facing difficult challenges in their lives. The Trail Youth provides mentorship, barista training, leadership development and community out reach in North Bend, Washington.

THE FIRST FOCUS CAMPAIGN FOR CHILDREN (THE CAMPAIGN) IS A BIPARTISAN CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION. THE CAMPAIGN ADVOCATES DIRECTLY FOR LEGISLATIVE CHANGE IN CONGRESS TO ENSURE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ARE A PRIORITY IN FEDERAL POLICY AND BUDGET DECISIONS.

Instill positive qualities in youth through mentoring, tutoring, self enrichment and character development programs.

To support, promote, and create dynamic learning environments for children which will serve and benefit families, businesses, and community partners.

THE ALLIANCE FOR QUALITY EDUCATION IS A COALITION MOBILIZING COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE TO KEEP NEW YORK TRUE TO ITS PROMISE OF ENSURING A HIGH- QUALITY PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION TO ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF ZIP CODE. COMBINING IT'S LEGISLATIVE AND POLICY EXPERTISE WITH GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING, AQE ADVANCES PROVEN-TO-WORK STRATEGIES THAT LEAD TO STUDENT SUCCESS AND ECHOES A POWERFUL PUBLIC DEMAND FOR A HIGH-QUALITY PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION FOR ALL OF NEW YORK'S STUDENTS.

THE ORGAINIZATION IS A CHILD-FRIENDLY, SAFE AND NEUTRAL LOCATION IN WHICH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES CAN CONDUCT AND OBSERVE FORENSIC INTERVIEWS WITH CHILDREN WHO ARE ALLEGED VICTIMS OF CRIME.

Creative Community Connectors is created and formed to address eliminate community violence in the City of Erie by building rapport in the community and bridging community relational efforts. The intention and vested effort is focused mainly on youth and young adults but does omit any age dynamic. C.C.C. Blue Coats program is the primary operating program and offers a variety of services which include but are not limited to youth violence prevention intervention court advocacy and non-violence education.

Provide healing services for victims who are effective by gun violents and trauma

Work in partnership with schools, businesses and community leaders, families and youth to reduce bullying and to foster a peer stance (positive, encouraging, empathetic, respectful + kind)

Oasis Youth Center is the sole queer cultural center supporting LGBTQ+ youth in Pierce County Washington. Oasis's purpose transcends survival aiming to cultivate accessible pathways for authentic thriving. This guiding principle translates to over 30 hours of weekly programming and special events throughout the year tailored to the needs and interests of queer youth. These activities nurture a healthy thriving community engaged in cultural celebration leadership development artistic expression and stewardship of the legacy and impact the LGBTQ+ community has in the world.
