Walnut Avenue Family & Women's Center's mission is to end cycles of trauma, support lifelong learning, and promote healthy relationships with oneself and others. Significant activities include services for survivors of domestic violence, services for children & youth, family support services, early childhood education services, volunteer and internship opportunities, and community outreach and prevention activities including prevention of family violence.

AT OUR ANNUAL NONPROFIT CONFERENCES, WE BRING TOGETHER THOUSANDS OF ACTIVE PROFESSIONALS TO CONNECT, RENEW, AND FIND INSPIRATION IN COMMUNITY. WE ARE COMMITTED TO HELPING CLOSE THE PAY GAP, ELIMINATE GENDER DISCRIMINATION AND ACHIEVE PARITY IN COMPANY LEADERSHIP AND ON CORPORATE BOARDS. Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM)'s mission is to end domestic violence by promoting safe and healthy relationships within the Asian-Pacific Islander community.

TO PROVIDE SAFETY, SHELTER AND SUPPORT TO EMPOWER ALL IMPACTED BY DOMESTIC ABUSE, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, CHILD ABUSE & TRAFFICKING.

To provide transitional housing and other supportive services to improve the quality of life for women who are incarcerated and/or recently released from incarceration.

To promote the self-reliance of women by assessing needs, providing services, and acting as a gateway to community resources; to seek solutions for unmet needs by providing strategic leadership through collaboration and partnerships within the community.

Treetops Collective started with a question: how does a refugee woman make this community her true home—a place where she and her family can flourish for generations to come? Just like trees need the right soil and conditions—so do strong women. As they become established and stable, they provide shade for others, prevent erosion, and provide numerous other benefits to their surroundings. Our mission is to connect New American women with people and opportunities in their new community so they can put their roots down deep and stand tall for generations to come. DEDICATED TO ECONOMIC AND EMOTIONAL SELF-DETERMINATION FOR WOMEN & FAMILIES . INDIVIDUALS IN CRISIS OR TRANSITION HAVE ACCESS TO LOW-COST HELP FROM MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, A CAREER COACH, DIVORCE SPECIALIST, FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY AND FINANCIAL ADVISOR. WHEN WOMEN AND MARGINALIZED INDIVIDUALS HAVE THE TOOLS TO ASSERT THEIR ECONOMIC AND EMOTIONAL STRENGTHS, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES ALSO THRIVE.

Our vision is to share HOPE with the discouraged among us. The mission of WOHRC is to help provide encouragement to families in our community by assisting them explore various ways to enrich their quality of life by offering services like: effective counseling, mentoring and by providing referrals to services we do not offer at our agency. One of the services we provide through our New Life Program is counseling as a state of NJ licensed out-patient drug and alcohol treatment clinic. For this program we can bill insurance companies for the services we provide to the clients. We have another program called Give Hope which helps loved ones learn how to communicate with those suffering from an addiction and direct them towards a sober lifestyle. An additional program is Building Lives Together (BLT). In this program we help clients with job searches, resume writing, developing interviewing skills, housing, local food pantries and other services. Give Hope & BLT we offer as free services.

PROVIDE EMERGENCY SHELTER TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VOILENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN AND PETS. DURING 2023, PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO 282 UNDUPLICATED WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN AND 30 PETS AND NON-RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO 151 UNDUPLICATED WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN.

The mission of the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute is to elevate the confidence and aspirations of high school girls by helping them build leadership, collaboration, and problem solving skills needed to become successful in their lives, careers, and communities.
