UNICEF's mission is to support programs through fundraising advocacy and education that provide lifesaving medicines better nutrition clean water quality basic education and emergency relief to children women and communities in over 150 countries and territories.The organization partners in coordination and planning with voluntary agencies engaged in child relief to create a better world for children.

COMMUNITY AND PROVIDES REAL ESTATE ADVICE, SERVICES AND STUDIES AT THE REQUEST OF THE U.N., CITY OR STATE OF NEW YORK, OR THE UNITED STATES.

SUPPORT THE WORK OF UN WOMEN THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND FUNDRAISING.

PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND INFORM THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE UNITED NATIONS AND HOW IT FUNCTIONS IN A NON-POLITICAL WAY.

TO INFORM, SUSTAIN, AND ENERGIZE A GLOBAL NETWORK OF UNITED NATIONS ASSOCIATIONS TO SUPPORT THE PRINCIPLES AND PROGRAMS OF THE UNITED NATIONS AND TO HELP SHAPE ITS AGENDA.

TO SERVE AS A RESOURCE ON THE GLOBAL ISSUES ADDRESSED BY THE UNITED NATIONS AND ITS AGENCIES BY PRESENTING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

THE HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE IS THE ONLY INDEPENDENT NON-PROFIT VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION PRIVILIGED TO BE POSITIONED WITHIN THE UNITED NATIONS ITSELF. IT IS FUNDED ENTIRELY BY THE PRIVATE SECTOR. IT'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN UNDERSTANDING AND FRIENDLY TIES BETWEEN ALL LEVELS OF THE UNITED NATIONS DIPLOMATIC COMMUNITY AND THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK. TO ASSIST NEWLY ARRIVED UN DIPLOMATS AND THEIR FAMILIES ADJUST TO THEIR NEW LIFE IN NEW YORK BY PROVIDING INFORMATION AND PROGRAMS THAT REDUCE LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL BARRIERS. TO BROADEN AN APPRECIATION OF AMERICAN CULTURE AND CUSTOMS AMONG UN DIPLOMATS AND THEIR FAMILIES, THEREBY ENHANCING THE REPUTATION OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE UNITED NATIONS.

THE FOUNDATION FOR GLOBAL COMPACT IS A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO HELP RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE UN GLOBAL COMPACT OFFICE AND GLOBAL COMPACT-RELATED ACTIVITIES.

THE GLOBAL SOLIDARITY FUND (GSF) IS A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP OF ORGANIZATIONS WORKING FOR INTEGRAL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTED TO CREATING SYSTEMIC CHANGE AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL, IN ORDER TO UNLOCK SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES THAT EMPOWER THE POOR AND VULNERABLE. WE DO THIS THROUGH ACTIVATING AND LINKING CATHOLIC NETWORKS AND LIKEMINDED ENTITIES AND OTHER GLOBAL ACTORS, IN WAYS THAT REFLECT CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING AND THE GLOBAL GOALS.

TO EDUCATE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ON A PEACEFUL CURRICULUM UTILIZING THE UNITED NATIONS MODEL AND ORGANIZING AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WHERE TEACHERS, STUDENTS, ADN PARENTS CAN PRACTICE THE CURRICULUM IN THE FORM OF EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

Established in 1953, the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) is among the largest and most active chapters of the UN Association of the USA, serving the vibrant and diverse communities of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV), with over 1,000 members. UNA-NCA strives to advocate for the universal values codified in the UN charter, locally in the DMV and globally; support and educate future diplomatic leaders; and advocate for effective engagement by the U.S. Mission to the UN.
