IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INDIGENOUS LOCAL CHURCHES AND COMMUNITIES OF FAITH, WE PROMOTE SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PHYSICAL WELFARE.

PLEASANT RIVER WILDLIFE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROTECT SCARCE, HIGH VALUE WILDLIFE HABITAT IN COASTAL WASHINGTON COUNTY ON THE DOWNEAST COAST OF MAINE. OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY IS THE PROTECTION OF INTERTIDAL AND FRESHWATER WETLANDS AND UPLAND BUFFER THAT PROVIDE IMPORTANT HABITAT FOR WATERFOWL, SHOREBIRDS, WADING BIRDS AND WOODCOCK. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PRESERVING TRADITIONAL PUBLIC ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS AND VISITORS.

THE ORGANIZATION IS AN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL WHICH STRIVES TO PROVIDE A NURTURING EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR ACADEMICALLY GIFTED GIRLS WHO COME FROM DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS. THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 8 TO 12 WHO HAVE DEMOSTRATED ACADEMIC TALENT AND LEADERESHIP POTENTIAL. THE STUDENTS ARE EQUIPPED WITH THE INTELLECTUAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS NECESSARY TO ASSUME POSITIONS OF LEADERSHIP IN SOUTH AFRICA AND ABROAD.

PRI CHAMPIONS FREEDOM, OPPORTUNITY, AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY BY ADVANCING FREE-MARKET SOLUTIONS. THE INSTITUTE PROVIDES PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE POLICY ISSUES THAT IMPACT THE DAILY LIVES OF ALL AMERICANS AND DEMONSTRATES WHY THE FREE MARKET IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN GOVERNMENT AT PROVIDING THE IMPORTANT RESULTS WE ALL SEEK: GOOD SCHOOLS, QUALITY HEALTH CARE, A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, AND A ROBUST ECONOMY.

INSPIRED BY THE TENETS OF BUDDHISM, HINDUISM, AND INDIGENOUS RELIGIONS, AND ALIGNED WITH ONGOING RESEARCH INTO LEARNING, BEHAVIOR, AND THE BRAIN, THE RUBIN OFFERS INNOVATIVE EXHIBITIONS AND PROGRAMS THAT EXAMINE PROVOCATIVE IDEAS ACROSS THE ARTS AND EXPLORE THE MIND. Project Pericles is a higher education nonprofit dedicated to advancing civic participation and social responsibility across college campuses. Through faculty leadership programs, community-engaged learning, and co-curricular initiatives, we equip faculty and students with the knowledge, skills, and resources to address societys most pressing challenges. In collaboration with our consortium of colleges and universities ("Pericleans"), we foster institutional commitments to ensure that active civic participation is woven throughout the curriculum and campus culture.
