WE SOLICIT DONATIONS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TO RESEARCHERS, LARGELY AFFILIATED WITH UNIVERSITIES AND NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUMS AND SCHOOLS BUT ALSO INDEPENDENT CITIZEN-SCIENTISTS AND AMATEUR NATURALISTS WHO PURSUE BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH ON ALL TYPES OF ORGANISMS (= BIODIVERSITY) LIVING IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS IN FLORIDA AND ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD. WE PUBLISH SUMMARIES OF THE DISCOVERIES MADE BY THE RESEARCHERS. WE ASK GRANT RECIPIENTS TO AUTHOR AND THEN PUBLISH THEIR FINDINGS IN SCIENTIFIC PAPERS IN JOURNALS, POPULAR ARTICLES IN MAGAZINES AND OTHER PUBLICLY AVAILABLE PERIODICALS AND RADIO AND TELEVISION MEDIA. WE PUBLISH BOOKS WRITTEN BY AUTHORS AND ILLUSTRATED BY PHOTOGRAPHERS, PROFESSIONAL OR AMATEUR, WITH A COMPELLING STORY TO TELL ABOUT ENDANGERED SPECIES, BIODIVERSITY, THREATENED HABITATS SUCH AS THE FLORIDA KEYS OR THE EVERGLADES OR TROPICAL RAINFORESTS, AND VIRTUALLY ANY SUBJECT RELATING TO CONSERVATION AND INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, WHICH WILL CONTRIBUTE TO

NAEF SUPPORTS THE ACTIVITIES OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING (NAE). NAE OPERATES WITHIN THE CHARTER AND FRAMEWORK OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES (NAS) AND ADVISES THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON MATTERS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. NAE ALSO SPONSORS ENGINEERING PROGRAMS AIMED AT MEETING NATIONAL NEEDS, ENCOURAGES EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, AND RECOGNIZES ENGINEERS' SUPERIOR ACHIEVEMENTS.

ADVANCING AND ENRICHING SCIENTIFIC ENDEAVOR BY CONNECTING SCIENTISTS WORLDWIDE, FACILITATING THE EXCHANGE OF RESEARCH AND IDEAS, SHOWCASING THE LATEST IN LABORATORY INNOVATION, AND FUNDING SCIENCE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH AT ALL LEVELS, KINDERGARTEN THROUGH ADULT.

TO UNLEASH INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP THAT WILL SOLVE ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES AND CATALYZE SHARED ECONOMIC PROSPERITY. PROVIDE FUNDING AND HOLISTIC ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPPORT TO CLEANTECH STARTUPS.

TO SUPPORT AND ENHANCE THE SPACE GRANT CONSORTIA IN EVERY STATE TO CARRY OUT EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES IN SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, ENGINEERING, AND TECHNOLOGY, AND ADDITIONAL FIELDS RELATED TO SPACE, AERONAUTICS, AVIATION, AND EARTH SYSTEM SCIENCE.

The UNMC Science Research Fund (SRF) is a Nebraska Non-Profit corporation without members. It promotes, encourages, and assists research and scholarly activities by the departments, faculty, staff, and students of UNMC. It also provides guidance and assistance to the community of UNMC to develop new discoveries, inventions, and other intellectual property and to promote the transfer and commercialization of such intellectual property which are beneficial to and compatible with the role and mission of UNMC.

The Partners provide monetary, in kind, and other assistance to educational organizations and new business entities seeking to locate in Pennsylvania and existing business entities located in Pennsylvania for advanced technology, research and development, training, education and related activities, including making investments in or acting as the manager of a fund created to support such business entities.
