THE MISSION OF THE GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA FOUNDATION IS TO DEVELOP AND PROVIDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE GOALS AND PROGRAMS OF THE GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA. THESE FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF THE SOCIETY AND IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE DESIRE OF THE DONORS.

EERI IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO UNDERSTANDING EARTHQUAKE RISK AND INCREASING EARTHQUAKE RESILIENCE IN COMMUNITIES WORLDWIDE. GENERAL SUPPORT & FURTHERANCE OF THE EXEMPT ACTIVITIES OF THE "ENERGY AND MINERAL LAW FOUNDATION", A 501(C)(3) EDUCATION ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION IN THE MINERAL RESOURCES AREA BY CONDUCTING INSTITUTES AND PUBLISHING ON MINERAL TOPICS. THE "FOUNDATION" FUNDS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND RESEARCH RELATING TO ENERGY LAW.

THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR DIFFRACTION DATA (ICDD) WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE WORLD CENTER FOR QUALITY DIFFRACTION AND RELATED DATA TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE TECHNICAL COMMUNITY. ICDD PROMOTES THE APPLICATION OF MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION METHODS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY BY PROVIDING FORUMS FOR THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION.

SEPM, THE SOCIETY FOR SEDIMENTARY GEOLOGY, IS A NON-PROFIT SOCIETY THAT FOCUSES SPECIFICALLY ON ENRICHING PROFESSIONALS AND STUDENTS WITHIN SEDIMENTARY GEOLOGY. SEPM IS DEDICATED TO DISSEMINATION AND EDUCATION IN ALL RELATED FIELDS. SEPM OFFERS MEMBERSHIP LEVELS AND RESOURCES FOR PROFESSIONALS AND STUDENTS IN THIS FIELD TO CONNECT, NETWORK, PUBLISH, AND GROW.

CORROSION CONTROL TECHNICAL EDUCATION, AUCSC PROVIDES AN ANNUAL THREE DAY COURSE ON THE CAUSES AND PREVENTION OF CORROSION.
