THE ROCKVILLE INSTITUTE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SOCIAL SCIENCE IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING THE SOCIAL SCIENCES BY PERFORMING RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATING RESEARCH FINDINGS TO THE PUBLIC.

The primary exempt purpose of Negative Population Growth, Inc. (NPG) is to educate the American public and political leaders about the detrimental effects of overpopulation on our environment, resources, and quality of life. NPG is a membership organization that advocates a smaller and truly sustainable United States population accomplished through voluntary incentives for smaller families and reduced immigration levels. NPG is a leader in the movement for a sound population policy that recognizes the crucial linkages between population growth, environmental degradation, and a declining quality of life.

TO LINK THE BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL, AND SCHOLARLY WORLDS IN THE CREATION AND APPLICATION OF GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNIQUES TO ADDRESS ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS.

PRI'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE AND AUTHENTIC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH RESEARCH WHICH RESPECTS HUMAN DIGNITY AND EVALUATE THE MATERIAL AND SOCIAL BENEFITS OF MODERATE POPULATION GROWTH, TO RESEARCH, DOCUMENT AND PUBLICIZE ABUSES OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE NAME OF POPULATION CONTROL, TO ENGAGE IN NONPARTISAN RESEARCH, STUDY AND ANALYSIS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THOSE QUESITONS AFFECTING THE PUBLIC INTEREST WITH RESPECT TO BOTH THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS, AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF EACH STUDY, TO PREPARE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION, TO CONDUCT AND SPONSOR PUBLIC DISCUSSION GROUPS, FORUMS, PANELS, LECTURES AND SIMILAR PROGRAMS,TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS EXEMPT UNDER 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1954 (OR CORRESPONDING PROVISIONS OF SUBSEQUENT FEDERAL TAX LAWS) IN THE CONDUCT OF SIMILAR ACTIVITIES.
