THE CITY BAR FUND, THE 501(C)(3) AFFILIATE OF THE NEW YORK CITY BAR ASSOCIATION, UNDERTAKES PUBLIC SERVICE, EDUCATION, POLICY ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES THROUGH THE CITY BAR JUSTICE CENTER, CYRUS R. VANCE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE, (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) THE LAWYER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AND THE OFFICE OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING.

1. THE MISSION OF SAN DIEGO VOLUNTEER LAWYER PROGRAM, INC. IS TO PROVIDE EQUAL ACCESS TO THE JUSTICE SYSTEM BY SERVING AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN INDIGENT AND OTHER DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY AND THE VOLUNTEER LAWYERS WHO ARE WILLING TO DONATE THEIR TIME AND RESOURCES. SDVLP PROVIDES AN ORGANIZED STRUCTURE THROUGH WHICH ATTORNEYS AND OTHER LEGAL PROFESSIONALS PROVIDE PRO BONO ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME PERSONS, PRIMARILY WOMEN AND CHILDREN, FACING CRITICAL LEGAL ISSUES IMPACTING THEIR HEALTH, SAFETY, AND WELL-BEING, WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO AFFORD LEGAL REPRESENTATION.

DEVELOP AND EDUCATE ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES

PROMOTION OF THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF LAW AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF FOREIGN LEGAL SYSTEMS; TO ESTABLISH, MAINTAIN, AND PUBLISH THE COMPARATIVE LAW JOURNAL; AND TO PROVIDE FOR RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF WRITINGS, BOOKS, PAPERS, AND PAMPHLETS RELATING TO COMPARATIVE, FOREIGN OR PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW.

SCHOOL JUSTICE PROJECT (SJP) IS A LEGAL SERVICES AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION SERVING OLDER STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS WHO ARE INVOLVED IN DC'S JUSTICE SYSTEMS. SJP'S MISSION IS TO USE SPECIAL EDUCATION LAW TO ENSURE THAT OLDER, COURT-INVOLVED STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES CAN ACCESS A QUALITY EDUCATION. WE ENVISION A COUNTRY WHERE ALL STUDENTS HAVE MEANINGFUL ACCESS TO A QUALITY EDUCATION. SJP'S EDUCATION ATTORNEYS WORK WITH THEIR CLIENTS TO PROTECT AND ENFORCE SPECIAL EDUCATION RIGHTS.

THE GREENBAG PUBLISHES A READABLE, ENJOYABLE, USEFUL LAW JOURNAL TO MAKE THE WORK PRODUCT OF THE LEGAL ACADEMY MORE ACCESSIBLE AND USEFUL TO LAW PRACTITIONERS, JUDGES, POLICY MAKERS, STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS.

COMMON JUSTICE DEVELOPS AND ADVANCES SOLUTIONS TO VIOLENT CRIME THAT TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF THOSE HARMED AND FOSTER RACIAL EQUITY WITHOUT RELYING ON INCARCERATION. LOCALLY, WE OPERATE THE FIRST ALTERNATIVE-TO-INCARCERATION AND VICTIM SERVICE PROGRAM IN THE UNITED STATES THAT FOCUSES ON VIOLENT FELONIES IN THE ADULT COURTS. NATIONALLY, WE LEVERAGE THE LESSONS FROM OUR DIRECT SERVICE TO TRANSFORM THE JUSTICE SYSTEM THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS, ADVOCACY, AND ELEVATING THE EXPERIENCE AND POWER OF THOSE MOST IMPACTED. The mission of San Diego social venture partners, inc. (SDSVP) is to empower individuals and organizations to accelerate positive social change in San Diego. SDSVP provides pro bono consulting to San Diego nonprofits with teams of our Partner consultants. SDSVP recruits, trains, inspires and supports these talented professionals who volunteer their time to come alongside nonprofit leaders to build stronger organizations so they can be more effective at addressing the communitys most pressing issues.
