Established in 1977, NWSA has, as one of its primary objectives, promoting and supporting the production and circulation of knowledge about women, gender and Sexuality through teaching, learning, research and service in academia and beyond.

WCPI's mission is to bring together a community of bipartisan women policymakers and trusted partners to advance issues of importance to women, develop the next generation of women leaders, and foster a more effective and representative democracy.
