EMPLOYMENT POLICIES INSTITUTE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE POLICYMAKERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH RESPECT TO THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL EFFECTS OF EMPLOYMENT, FINANCIAL, AND GOVERNMENT SPENDING POLICIES, AND TO CONDUCT RESEARCH WITH RESPECT TO EMPLOYMENT, FINANCIAL, AND GOVERMENT SPENDING POLICIES AND DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

CINCINNATI UNION COOPERATIVE INITIATIVE PARTNERS WITH INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP WORKER-OWNED BUSINESSES WHICH PROVIDE FAMILY- SUSTAINING JOBS AND CREATE ECONOMY THAT WORKS FOR ALL.

IN DECEMBER 2013 THE COLLEGES BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVED A MOTION TO DISCONTINUE THE OPERATIONS OF THE COLLEGE. THE COLLEGE EXISTS ONLY FOR RECORDKEEPING PURPOSES FOR PAST STUDENTS AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF RETIREE HEALTH CARE FOR PAST EMPLOYEES.

THE CENTER FOR EMPLOYMENT SECURITY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (CESER) IS THE LEADING EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER, FOCUSING ON WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ISSUES.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATION AND TRAINING THAT ENABLES WORKING PEOPLE AND THE LABOR MOVEMENT TO HAVE A STRONGER VOICE IN THE WORKPLACE AND PARTICIPATE MORE EFFECTIVELY IN THE CHANGING GLOBAL ECONOMY.
