THE WILLIAM J. SEYMOUR INSTITUTE FOR BLACK CHURCH AND POLICY STUDIES WILL EDUCATE AND TRAIN BLACK CHURCH LEADERS (INCLUDING CLERGY, SEMINARIANS AND LAY MEN AND WOMEN) AS WELL THE INTERESTED PUBLIC, REGARDING A PROPER CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHIC AND THEOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING OF COMPLEX QUESTIONS CONFRONTING THE BLACK CHURCH AT THIS PERIOD IN OUR HISTORY. AN UNCOMPROMISING COMMITMENT TO THE POOR INSPIRES THE SEYMOUR INSTITUTE'S MISSION BECAUSE OF THE GREATER VULNERABILITY OF ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED POPULATIONS TO THE HARMS THAT ARISE FROM IMPROPER SOCIETAL ACTION IN THE AREAS OF CONCERN.

FAITH IN PUBLIC LIFE'S MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE MORAL IMPERATIVE FOR A JUST, INCLUSIVE AND EQUITABLE COUNTRY THAT ALLOWS EACH OF US TO LIVE INTO OUR FULL HUMANITY. WE DO THIS BY BUILDING POWER AND CULTURES OF BELONGING AMONG DIVERSE INFLUENTIAL FAITH LEADERS AND RESOURCING THEM TO EXPAND THE NARRATIVE ON THE VISION FOR OUR DEMOCRACY.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE TEXTS IN TRANSLATION FROM THE ANCIENT CHRISTIAN TRADITION. ITS PURPOSE IS SUMMARIZED IN ITS CHARTER AS THAT OF "MAKING CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN TEXTS MORE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. WE HOLD THAT IT IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST TO MAKE GREAT CLASSIC TEXTS OF RELIGIOUS AND MORAL WISDOM AVAILABLE TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE." THREE OBJECTIVES ARE ENCOMPASSED IN THIS MISSION: (1) DEVELOPING AND SUPPORTING PROJECTS FOR PRINTED TRANSLATION OF CLASSIC CHRISTIAN WRITINGS THAT ARE UNAVAILABLE OR HARD TO OBTAIN IN ENGLISH AND OTHER MODERN LANGUAGES. (2) DEVELOPING AND ENCOURAGING DIGITAL RESOURCES AND SOLUTIONS FOR MAKING AVAILABLE CLASSIC CHRISTIAN TEXTS IN TRANSLATION IN NON-PRINT MEDIA. (3) MAKING ANCIENT CHRISTIAN TEXTS MORE WIDELY AVAILABLE IN POOR COUNTRIES OF TWO-THIRDS OF THE WORLD.

TO PROMOTE TALMUDIC RESEARCH AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE COMMITED TO CONTINUE THEIR PROFESSIONAL TALMUDIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT WORLDWIDE

PUBLIC RELIGION RESEARCH INSTITUTE IS A NONPROFIT, NONPARTISAN, INDEPENDENT FIRM SPECIALIZING IN RESEARCH AT THE INTERSECTION OF RELIGION, VALUES, AND PUBLIC POLICY. AS A RESEARCH ORGANIZATION, WE DO NOT TAKE POSITIONS ON, NOR DO WE ADVOCATE FOR, PARTICULAR POLICIES.

THE INSTITUTE'S MISSION IS TO CONDUCT RESEARCH ON KEY ISSUES FACING SOCIETY TO HELP BOTH THE CHURCH AND SOCIETY DEAL THOUGHTFULLY WITH THE MAJOR ISSUES THEY FACE GLOBALLY. THE INSTITUTE ALSO SPONSORS AND CONDUCTS RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE CATHOLIC TRADITION, CULTURAL/ECCLESIAL HERITAGE OF CATHOLICISM, AND DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

To promote the science of biblical research by providing funding and support for expeditions, education, investigation, research, and publication or any other activity in any sphere as may be deemed necessary for elucidation of the historical biblical period.

WE RAISE UP THE NEXT GENERATION OF SPIRITUAL LEADERS BY PROVIDING INTERSECTIONAL LEARNING SPACES

TO PROMOTE THE BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES OF STEWARDSHIP AND HELP PEOPLE APPLY THOSE PRINCIPLES IN THEIR LIVES, PRIMARILY BY HELPING DONORS MAKE BETTER- INFORMED GIVING DECISIONS.

TO PROMOTE CHRISTIAN THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION AND MISSION.

ESTABLISHED AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE FOCUSED ON RESEARCH IN ALL FIELDS RELATED TO ISLAMIC LAW ENCOMPASSING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS VARIOUS SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT, THROUGH CONDUCTING PUBLIC SYMPOSIA, SPECIALIZED PUBLICATIONS, RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS, SPECIALIZED LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT, AND/OR OTHER ACADEMIC MEANS.

IT IS THE GOAL OF PROPHEY DEPOT MINISTRIES TO BROADCAST FAR AND WIDE THROUGH ALL AVAILABLE LITERACY, MEDIA AND SPEAKING MEANS POSSIBLE, THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST WHICH IS THE "GOOD NEWS GOSPEL AND THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY ACCORDING TO REVELATION 19:10. ADDITIONALLY WE AIM TO AUTHENTICATE THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD THROUGH BIBLE PROPHECY BY UNDERSTANDING AND TEACHING WHAT BIBLE PROPHECY HAS TO SAY ABOUT THESE LAST DAYS.
