Lets Get Ready Inc
Let’s Get Ready provides free SAT prep, admissions counseling, and post-enrollment mentoring to students from low-income backgrounds and who are first-generation-to-college. Our peer-driven program is administered by highly trained and highly effective college students who mentor younger students to and through college.
LET’S GET READY’S powerful program provides students with six years of support through the college admissions and enrollment process, and then along the road to college graduation. Throughout the process, we rely on highly trained and highly effective college undergraduates who mentor younger students by becoming Coaches. These Let’s Get Ready near-peer Coaches provide students with timely, relevant and personalized resources, share their own college experiences to create a sense of belonging, and support students as they identify their strengths and build self-efficacy skills.
Let’s Get Ready’s program happens in three distinct phases:
COLLEGE ACCESS — FOR HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS
Our Access Coaches prep students for the SAT exam and provide an overview of the college admissions and financial aid process, as well as guide students to develop a customized plan that reflects their individual college goals.
COLLEGE TRANSITION — FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Our Transition Coaches prepare students for college life and provide personalized guidance with college applications, financial aid, college decisions, and combating “summer melt” through mentorship, resources and workshops.
COLLEGE SUCCESS — FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
Our Success Coaches work virtually and on-campus to ensure students have the information and encouragement they need to adapt to college life and succeed year over year.
