Cicero Avenue Transitional Shelter

After nearly 40 years of providing emergency overnight shelter, we are investing in a new vision of the community safety net. We will convert a roadside motel into accessible, dignity based, low barrier temporary housing to support clients well into the future.

Dignity Based Services

This 55-room facility includes private accommodations for individuals, couples, families, and people with disabilities. Each room includes a private bathroom, microwave, refrigerator and personal storage. With an average stay of 90 days, this facility will shelter 350 a year. Clients receive trauma-informed, culturally competent case management and supportive services.
