Hearth is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness among the elderly. This mission is accomplished through a unique blend of prevention, placement, and housing programs all designed to help elders find and succeed in homes of their own. To this end, all housing operated by Hearth provides a creative array of supportive services that assist residents to age with dignity, regardless of their special medical, mental health, or social needs. Hearth believes these goals are best accomplished through respect for elders and staff, with the desire to see both achieve their highest degree of potential.

Homeward Bound is the chief provider of emergency transitional and long-term housing and support services for homeless families and adults in Marin County. We provide a safe place to stay for approximately 1,000 people each year, including 100+ children. Services include compassionate case management, help with meals, referrals to community programs for child care and healthcare, access to job training, plus assistance with housing and job search.

Beach House, Inc., dba Leading Families Home, is a 501(c)3 charity based in Toledo, Ohio. We support long-term independence by providing emergency family shelter, effective housing, economic and behavioral health stabilization, education, and employment services.

Founded in 1987, Friends of Boston’s Homeless supports innovative, solutions-oriented programs with proven track records that help our vulnerable neighbors move out of crowded shelters and unsafe outdoor spaces into safe, dignified housing and connect with the services and opportunities they need to live peaceful, hopeful, fulfilling lives in our community. We focus on removing the final barriers of transition that programs, and the people they help, don’t have the means to cover. Housing Opportunity Development Corporation (HODC) is a community-based nonprofit developer of affordable housing founded in 1983. HODC’s mission is to develop, manage and preserve housing that is affordable to low- and moderate-income households primarily in Chicago’s northern suburbs. By offering rental units at prices affordable to people making less than $40,000 per year, HODC works to overcome the obstacle of access to opportunity. Without first having basic access to shelter, none of life’s other necessities or issues can be addressed. Having a safe, affordable place to live is the core of a healthy life today. The need for affordable housing only grows as wages stagnate and housing costs skyrocket, especially in suburban areas. HODC’s work is compelled by the principle that every additional unit HODC develops or preserves results in a direct and tangible difference for the individuals and families who live with us.

Our mission is to empower LGBTQ+ youth to thrive. We assist young people ages 13-24 who are facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from friends and family, physical, sexual, and drug abuse, and mental health challenges through individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.

At Bethany House we support women, and women with children, experiencing homelessness, through transition to stability. Friendship Place is a leader in the Washington, DC, metro area in developing solutions to homelessness that have measurable results and a lasting impact. Friendship Place's mission is to empower people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness to attain stable housing and rebuild their lives. Friendship Place helped 5,430 and 4,993 people in the years ended September 30, 2024 and 2023, respectively, with comprehensive, wraparound services that included street outreach, drop-in, free medical and psychiatric services, job placement, case management, transitional shelter, rapid rehousing, homelessness prevention, permanent supportive housing, and specialized services for families, youth, and veterans.
