
Trout Adventures promotes science-based stewardship of native trout, wildlife, and the habitats that sustain them, with a particular focus on the Great Basin.
A hands-on, multi-week conservation education program that brings trout eggs into classrooms across western Nevada. Students raise trout, explore aquatic ecosystems, and participate in supervised release-day activities. In partnership with the Nevada Department of Wildlife, Trout Adventures expands access to Trout in the Classroom in rural communities.

Through an interactive classroom game, students identify iconic Nevada species—including Lahontan cutthroat trout, desert bighorn sheep, and bristlecone pine tree—reinforcing classroom lessons in science, geography, history, and culture.
