To strengthen Iowa's families and communities by providing free legal help that protects housing, safety, and income-and empowers people to build stable, independent lives. With 10 offices serving all 99 Iowa counties, Iowa Legal Aid helps more than 32,000 individuals and families each year secure their basic needs and address issues such as disaster recovery, protecting older Iowans, and supporting veterans.
