Girls on the Run SWFL empowers girls to build confidence and find joy through engaging activities and running.
Girls on the Run SWFL is dedicated to helping young girls in our community build confidence, stay active, and nurture their emotional well-being.
In 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General recognized our program for its impact on teaching essential life skills. Thanks to the support of our community, we introduced the “Hello Super Star” curriculum, and this fall, we’re excited to launch “Hello Mountain Mover!”—programs designed to inspire girls to thrive. Last year, we had the privilege of supporting 702 girls, helping them grow in confidence and resilience.
The difference we make together is clear. As a local principal shared, “The 5K event was spectacular, and the smiles on our girls and their families showed just how much positivity the Girls on the Run program brings.”
As we embark on the 2024/2025 school year, the continued backing of our generous community allows us to keep empowering girls across Southwest Florida. Together, we’re building a brighter future, one girl at a time.
Girls on the Run SWFL empowers girls in grades 3-8 through interactive lessons and running, fostering confidence and essential life skills. The season wraps up with a celebratory 5K, where girls showcase their growth.
Heart & Sole is tailored for middle school girls (grades 6-8), emphasizing self-confidence, relationship-building, and goal-setting. The program concludes with a 5K event, celebrating their personal development.
