The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is to help young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. We do this by providing: a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life-enhancing programs.

We are a 10-12 year program that coaches San Francisco students to become the first in their families to graduate from college ready to pursue careers that are meaningful to them!

Science Club for Girls provides free, mentor-based STEM programming for girls in grades K-12 from underrepresented communities.

We empower limited means K-12 youth and their families to overcome individual challenges in order to achieve healthier and more fulfilling lives. Through out-of-school programming, and using a long-term, relationally-based and holistic approach to development, we work to enrich the mind, body and spirit. We assist with academic needs, teach social and emotional learning skills, provide other life skills and introduce youth to experiences they might not otherwise enjoy. Our youth come from families that struggle to help their children achieve their potential because they are burdened with their own issues. Our work with families provides support to mitigate situations impacting our students, such as hunger, homelessness, inadequate transportation, financial instability and other Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Louis D. Brown Peace Institute is a center of healing, teaching, and learning for families and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief and loss.

Peer Health Exchange’s empowers young people with the knowledge, skills, and resources to make healthy decisions. We do this by training college students to teach a skills-based health curriculum in under-resourced high schools across the country.

Waypoint Adventure uses quality experiential and adventure-based programs to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities. We live in a world where the word ‘disabled’ is perceived to be synonymous with ‘incapable’. Waypoint Adventure works to combat that perception. Waypoint breaks down barriers and opens up the world of possibilities for its participants.

Our mission is to ignite girls’ passion and power to succeed through positive mentoring relationships with women and enrichment programs that support girls’ healthy development. Ultimately, our vision is to create a mentor-rich community in which every girl has access to the individual nurturing, guidance, and support she needs to become a confident, competent and caring adult. We are a national model for gender-intentional mentoring for girls which can be replicated in other mentoring programs.

Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Our vision is to put success within reach for our Club members and keep them on track to graduate high school. We help them realize a positive plan for the future that includes good character, citizenship, workforce readiness, and a healthy lifestyle. Each year, more than 53,000 youth ages 6 to 17 walk through our doors for our after-school and summer programs at 25 Clubs throughout 5 counties of Greater Houston. At our Clubs, youth are provided meals, strong role models, homework assistance, organized athletics, character development, and access to the arts. Our apolitical and business-focused approach differentiates us and changes the conversation around Israel. Our students participate in experiential learning through the lens of Israel in the form of education, pro-bono consulting for Israeli companies, Israeli investment research, and on-the-ground internships in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Learn Fresh is a transformative nonprofit that empowers educators with innovative STEM learning experiences built around sports and entertainment. Students who engage in Learn Fresh programs discover a new way of learning that is fun, highly engaging, and results in academic and social-emotional growth. Mission: Through community, play, and rigorous exploration, we leverage students' passion for sports and entertainment to inspire their STEM and social emotional learning. Vision: We envision a world in which our students find learning so engaging that they want to do it all the time. Focus: Our programs are explicitly focused on achieving equitable representation across the STEM pipeline for girls, students of colors and those living in low-income communities.

We save animals and help our neighbors care for the pets they love. At Friends For Life, every animal matters. Founded in 2002, Friends For Life introduced the no-kill shelter model to Houston – saving animals regardless of their breed, age or condition. Houston-grown, we’re here to help our neighbors care for the pets they love. We’re not finished until every animal has a safe home. Until then, we’ll be innovating, improving and tracking results to find the most effective ways to save lives.

For over 50 years, the Watertown Boys and Girls Club has been building great futures for the youth and teens in the Watertown community. Our club is a safe, creative setting with trained, compassionate staff who help guide, mentor and coach boys and girls in achieving academic success, build character, connect with peers and develop healthy habits for a great future.

Boys to Men Mentoring Network of Virginia (BTMVA) offers young men a safe place where they can talk about what is really going on in their lives, as well as a community of mentors and peers who listen, believe in them and help them make better choices. BTMVA is now in seven school districts (Richmond, Petersburg, Hopewell, Chesterfield, Henrico, Colonial Heights & Prince George). Every week, we are holding 35 group mentoring circles in middle & high schools as well as in the community. We even added a community circle for 18-25 yr old young men. There are over 500 young men that we see every week to offer social-emotional support.

Our Mission: Wadena County Humane Society saves the lives of companion animals, finds forever homes for forsaken pets, and advocates responsible animal guardianship in our community.

Chicago youth are leaving high school unprepared for their future at alarming rates. Beat the Streets Chicago exists to change that. We believe every child can become a Life Champion. We empower youth and guide their journey to becoming Life Champions through wrestling. Every Chicago youth deserves access to wrestling, the world's greatest sport and the single greatest vehicle for becoming a Life Champion. Our year-round programs are low-cost, co-ed, open to all levels and available at multiple locations throughout Chicago. When paired with customized enrichment programming and deep, positive relationships with coaches and mentors, our wrestlers are uniquely positioned to succeed. We welcome youth aged 5 - 18, whether they are looking for fun, physical literacy and wellness or something much deeper and life-changing. Every student-athlete who buys-in to our values-based culture builds positive relationships and makes progress toward becoming a Life Champion, on and off the mat.

The Sun Valley Youth Center is a non-profit after school and summer program for kids ages five to sixteen in Denver’s Sun Valley neighborhood. We use a trauma informed, attachment based model of caregiving to set our youth and families up for success.

Empowering female-identifying and nonbinary youth, aged 15-24, across the United States, to confidently navigate their personal and professional lives by providing tools, resources, and skill-building opportunities.

Girls on the Run Georgia, a council of Girls on the Run International, proudly serves children in 3rd-8th grades in Athens, Greater Atlanta, and North Georgia. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Our programs are designed to enhance participants' social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Our fun, interactive lessons meet the unique needs of participants of all abilities and backgrounds. Since our council’s inception in 2000, we have unlocked the power and potential in our more than 40,000 participants and made a lasting impact on our community through participant-led service projects.

At a time when persistent sadness is on the rise - especially among young girls - Girls on the Run of NOVA is dedicated to delivering joyful and empowering programming to our region’s 3rd-8th graders, regardless of their ability, background, or financial resources. We reach 4,000 kids annually with fun, interactive lessons that teach skills like empathy and positive self-talk while incorporating joyful movement and running games. No two GOTR participants are exactly alike, and while mental health challenges affect us all, some face more barriers to accessing structured support than others. When you support GOTR NOVA, you help us bring our lessons to those kids facing the most barriers to getting the support they need.
