We work to increase participation in sports by youth who have a physical disability or visual impairment.
Mikayla Chandler has her sights set on the 2020 Paralympic Games. Born with dwarfism, Mikayla was a 3-sport athlete in high school and has won 4 Para Track & Field State Champions. “I play sports because I’m able to prove myself wrong,” she says. “I doubted myself early on and am now able to have a positive mindset.” This fall, Mikayla will study and train at San Diego State.
