"We are Humane World for Animals. Formerly called the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International.

Since 1954, we have worked to create a more humane society for animals. Working side by side as the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International, we’ve helped to pass thousands of landmark laws, rescued hundreds of thousands of animals, and cared for and protected millions more.
