Empowering Kids to Bright Futures!
Our mission is to empower children, families, and the community by providing support and resources to those with autism or social challenges.
Our vision is to provide a life of hope, happiness, dignity, and purpose.
FROM AN EMPOWERING KIDS PARENT: When I found out my son had autism, II knew I would do anything to help him succeed. I also knew my ability to help him would be limited, because I had no training in teaching, and certainly not in autism! I was uncertain where we could go to get him the extra help he would need…would we need to go to Fargo or the Cities? Neither option sounded very appealing.
When I found out about Empowering Kids, I was so excited that there was an organization in our rural area that could help him. Empowering Kids has been such a blessing to my son and our family. He has had the chance to work with Heidi, Tiffany, Keiler and Chelsey- professionals trained specifically to help kids with autism. They help him with so many of the life skills that we take for granted. They make learning fun for him. He has matured so much in managing his emotions, expressing his feelings to others and succeeding in school. His future is so bright! And I know this would not be possible without Empowering Kids and its wonderful employees. We are so grateful our son gets to go to Empowering Kids, and can’t wait to see how much he learns in the future!
