When Maximiliano "Max" Rivarola was just 14 years old, he was tragically diagnosed with a type of leukemia (blood cancer). Max's family immigrated from Argentina to the U.S. to seek treatment that was unavailable in their home country. After a 3 year battle, Max passed away, but his legacy lives on through The Max Foundation (Max). Since 1997, Max has provided over 100,000 cancer patients living in more than 70 low- and middle-income countries access to treatment and care, at no cost to the patient.
We deliver medication, diagnostic technologies, and holistic patient services to more than 34,000 patients annually.
Our vision is a world where all people can access high-impact medicines, where geography is not destiny, and where everyone can strive for health with dignity and hope.
