THE MISSION OF READING & MATH, INC. IS TO TRANSFORM LIVES. WHILE WORKING TO ENGAGE PEOPLE IN NATIONAL SERVICE, WE FOCUS ON REPLICATING AND EXPANDING EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS CRITICAL GAPS IN EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND OTHER EMERGENT SOCIAL ISSUES.

OUR MISSION IS TO FOSTER IMPROVED LITERACY AND A LOVE OF READING BY PROVIDING FREE BOOKS TO CHILDREN IN NEED THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

The organization is exclusively for education and charitable purposes to impact the lives of children, teachers, families, and the communities in which they live by enhancing the quality of public education.

BookTrails mission is to foster literacy in all people and promote access to literacy programs for all children. BookTrails aims to design programs that create new ways to experience the joys of reading and writing through experiential learning

The Oakland Literacy Coalition was founded on the belief that literacy is a fundamental right and that together, we can create the conditions for children to thrive in reading and beyond. The Oakland Literacy Coalition exists as a dedicated hub for the city's literacy efforts with the mission of working together to ensure that every Oakland child learns and loves to read.Students face many different challenges to reading achievement, both in and out of school, and these barriers cannot be fully addressed through any single program or intervention. The Oakland Literacy Coalition recognizes that a holistic approach is needed to truly create progress citywide. That's why we work as a coalition to weave together the many assets, resources, and efforts serving Oakland kids and families and enable them to learn, collaborate, and champion literacy to achieve a more powerful combined impact.

CREATING A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE CAN FIND THEMSELVES ON THE PAGES OF A BOOK.

To work with public schools that have a high concentration of children living in poverty and/or homes where no English is spoken and/or parental education is lacking. These geographic areas have few parents who can help in the classroom and give educational support to their children. We recruit educated, mature volunteers to work under the direction of the teacher. The teacher designates which children need help and provides the appropriate materials for them. The child reads to the volunteer, while the volunteer assist with comprehension and pronunciation.

The Tulsa Literary Coalition strives to foster the love of reading and books and to bridge cultural, ethnic, and religious divides through literature.

LITLAB'S MISSION IS TO CREATE CONNECTED AND INTERACTIVE EARLY LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS BY DEPLOYING BOOKS, DIGITAL CONTENT, AND BLENDED LEARNING SOLUTIONS FOR UNDER-RESOURCED CHILDREN, THEIR CAREGIVERS, AND EDUCATORS.

To create resources and establish parental academies and workshops to promote and support academic engagement and literacy for parents whose children are underachieving and struggling academically. Through collaboration with educational institutions and organizations, parents will be empowered as they build capacity to be engaged and involved .
