We are a global nonprofit inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. Along with our network, we’ve planted more than half a billion trees — with a focus on areas where they can have the greatest impact on climate, communities, and biodiversity.

The New Jersey Tree Foundation is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees in New Jersey's most underserved neighborhoods, where the need is greatest. Through tree planting, volunteerism and partnerships, we assist communities in improving their environment and quality of life.

Access to nature is essential to our happiness, health, and well-being. Yet in the U.S., about one in three people, including 28 million children, don’t have a quality park close to home. We’re partnering with communities across the country to change that. Since 1972, we’ve created thousands of parks and protected millions of acres of public land where it’s needed most.

Neighborhood Forest is a non-profit, social venture dedicated to giving children their very own tree to plant on Earth Day – for free – every spring. We love trees! We love planting them and watching them grow. We want to give every child this joy. And, in the process, beautify our neighborhoods, remove carbon from the atmosphere, and help instill in the hearts of our little ones a sense of magic, wonder, and love for our planet. Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has mobilized over 5,000 schools, libraries, and youth groups, engaged over 750,000 volunteers, and given over 310,000 children in all 50 states (plus Canada and Mexico) the opportunity to plant their very own tree. We are growing at a rapid rate and are aiming to reach 1 million children in the next few years. Our dream is to reach every child in North America and eventually the world.

Green Cities Accord is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering climate resilient communities through investments in tree canopy infrastructure to improve environmental health, climate resilience, and equity in communities. We focus on securing funding for urban forestry, building public-private partnerships, and supporting municipalities in planting and maintaining trees. Green Cities Accord continues to grow both the Urban Forest Fund and the Urban Tree Carbon Offset Program as new funding mechanisms to address the chronic lack of funding for urban forestry initiatives. The Urban Forest Fund serves as a flexible funding mechanism that channels private and philanthropic investments into tree planting and maintenance efforts,. The Urban Tree Carbon Offset Program allows organizations to reduce their carbon footprint by purchasing verified offsets tied to local tree projects, with revenue reinvested into expanding and preserving the urban forest.
