FRIENDS OF THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY REEF IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING IN PERMITTING AND FUNDING AN ARTIFICIAL REEF NORTH OF THE SOUTH PADRE ISLAND JETTY.

THE FOUNDATION WAS ORGANIZED WITH THE PURPOSE OF (A) CONDUCTING AND FUNDING RESEARCH REGARDING ECOSYSTEMS, HABITAT PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION; (B) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON HABITAT PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION; (C) PROVIDING RESTORATION SERVICES; AND (D) CARRYING ON OTHER CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THESE PURPOSES AS ALLOWED BY LAW.

The purpose of the corporation is to support and benefit, financially and/or operationally, the Makah Indian Tribe, a federally recognized Indian tribe.

Fort Bragg Groundfish Conservation Trust falls under the Fisheries Resources category: Organizations that provide for the conservation, protection and management of different species of fish by establishing coastal, lake, reservoir or other inland fisheries where different species of fish are hatched in protected environments and used to stock public waters that have been depleted.
