SHARE CANCER SUPPORT IS A NATIONAL, PEER-LED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS AND EDUCATES ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST OR GYNECOLOGIC CANCER AND PROVIDES CRITICAL INFORMATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT SIGNS, SYMPTOMS, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT OPTIONS.

Crossroads provides gender-responsive addiction and behavioral health treatment services in a safe and respectful environment so individuals and families can lead healthy lives.

THE WOMENS CENTER SERVES WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN IN VARIOUS PROGRAMS ADDRESSING VIOLENCE, CRISIS AND POVERTY: RAPE CRISIS AND VICTIM SERVICES, CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION, COUNSELING, INFORMATION AND REFERRALS AND SUPPORT GROUPS, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE.

THE EAST LOS ANGELES WOMEN'S CENTER IS A LEADING VOICE AND ADVOCATE FOR SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY SEXUAL, DOMESTIC, AND INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE, HIV/AIDS AND THE INTERSECTION OF HOMELESSNESS. THE MISSION OF THE EAST LOS ANGELES WOMEN'S CENTER IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL WOMEN, GIRLS AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVE IN A PLACE OF SAFETY, HEALTH, AND PERSONAL WELL-BEING, FREE FROM VIOLENCE AND ABUSE, WITH EQUAL ACCESS TO NECESSARY HEALTH SERVICES AND SOCIAL SUPPORT, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LATINO COMMUNITIES.

SHELTERED LIVING FOR WOMEN

THE ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE WOMEN'S CENTER OFFERS LICENSE RESIDENTIAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT FOR INDIGENT WOMEN IN GALVESTON AND BRAZORIA COUNTIES.

WMHC, INC ARE EXPERIENCED, INTERACTIVE, FEMINIST THERAPISTS WHO WORK WITH PEOPLE EXPERIENCING DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, LOW SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFLICTS IN RELATIONSHIPS. THEY HAVE DEVELOPED EXPERTISE ON TREATMENT OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE, THE WIDESPREAD EFFECTS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, EATING DISORDERS, ADDICTIONS, PARENTING ISSUES AND PROBLEMS IN THE WORKPLACE. THEY EMPHASIZE THAT THERAPY IS AN ACTIVE, COLLABORATIVE PROCESS OF WORKING TOWARD SELF ACCEPTANCE AND CHANGE.

DOVE HOUSE IS COMMITTED TO EMPOWERING WOMEN TO BECOME SUBSTANCE FREE, SELF-SUFFICIENT, AND HEALTHY BY PROVIDING SAFE HOUSING AND QUALITY RECOVERY PROGRAMMING. FOR OVER 22 YEARS, DOVE HOUSE HAS BEEN PROVIDING EFFECTIVE TRAUMA-INFORMED SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT SERVICES TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF WOMEN.. DOVE HOUSE'S PROGRAM OFFER WOMEN MORE THAN JUST A RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT BED. DOVE HOUSE'S MODEL OFFERS A COMPREHENSIVE CONTINUUM OF SERVICES INCLUDING HOUSING, COUNSELING AND TRAUMA THERAPY, CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, RECOVERY PROGRAMMING, LIFE SKILLS AND JOB READINESS CLASSES, NUTRITIOUS MEALS, PARENTING CLASSES, AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION SERVICES. THESE SERVICES ARE OFFERED AT NO COST TO WOMEN AND ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THEM ON THEIR RECOVERY JOURNEY FROM THE MOMENT THEY CONTEMPLATE TREATMENT, ACHIEVE RECOVERY, AND TRANSITION TO INDEPENDENT LIVING.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FOR WOMEN WITH ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ABUSE CHALLENGES.

BWJP PROMOTES SYSTEMIC CHANGE WITH THE CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS TO ENSURE AN EFFECTIVE AND JUST RESPONSE TO VICTIMS AND PERPETRATORS OF INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE AND THE CHILDREN EXPOSED TO THIS VIOLENCE.

Provide an alcohol and drug free-environment and recovery services for both male and female clients, in a home like setting for a period of 6-12 months with an ongoing aftercare plan.

ASSIST DOMESTICALLY ABUSED VICTIMS

TO PROVIDE AWARENESS, FRIENDSHIP, AND SUPPORT FOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH MENTORING, NEWLY-DIAGNOSED ASSISTANCE, AND NEWSLETTER.

THE MISSION OF THE WOMEN'S INITIATIVE IS TO PROVIDE WOMEN WITH EFFECTIVE COUNSELING, SOCIAL SUPPORT AND EDUCATION SO THEY CAN TRANSFORM LIFE CHALLENGES INTO POSITIVE CHANGE AND GROWTH.

MAGNOLIA WOMEN'S RECOVERY SERVICES, INC. PROVIDES COUNSELING, EDUCATION, REHABILITATION, AND HOUSING SERVICES TO WOMEN IN ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.

MABEL WADSWORTH WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE CENTER PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL AND CLINICAL SERVICES IN SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE TO WOMEN REGARDLESS OF AGE, RACE OR ETHNICITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR ECONOMIC STATUS.

THE MISSION OF NEW DIRECTIONS FOR WOMEN IS TO SAVE THE LIVES OF WOMEN OF ALL AGES, WOMEN WITH CHILDREN AND PREGNANT WOMEN AFFECTED BY ALCOHOLISM, OTHER ADDICTIONS AND RELATED ISSUES.

Provide wellness and preventive counseling. Provide educational and therapeutic health services in a peaceful and safe environment. Provide support for women experiencing emotional or behavioral problems related to abuse or other events.

The Home of Grace for Women, Inc. is a resident alcohol and drug recovery program serving women primarily from southwest Alabama. Short term lodging is available for program graduates.

TO PROVIDE HOPE AND RESTORATION TO AND DEVELOP TRUSTED RELATIONSHIPS WITH THOSE ENSLAVED IN HUMAN TRAFFICKING. TO INCREASE COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND COORDINATE THE IDENTIFICATION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

HOLD YEARLY CONFERENCES FOR WOMEN IN RECOVERY. THE CONFERENCE FOCUSES ON WOMEN CELEBRATING THEIR RECOVERY AND BONDING.

TO DECREASE THE VOILENCE IN ENGLEWOOD CHICAGO WHILE INCREASING THE PEACE FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY IN ENGLEWOOD
