THE MISSION OF THE WOMEN'S DERMATOLOGIC SOCIETY IS TO BE THE PREMIER ORGANIZATION CULTIVATING PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN DERMATOLOGISTS DEDICATED TO EXCELLENCE IN PATIENT CARE, MENTORSHIP, VOLUNTEERISM, AND LEADERSHIP.

TO EASE THE STRESSFUL FINANCIAL STRAINS ASSOCIATED WITH CANCER AND TO ALLOW PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO FOCUS ON THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - THEIR JOURNEY THROUGH CANCER. GRANTS CAN BE USED AT THE RECIPIENT'S DISCRETION FOR ANYTHING THEY MAY NEED DURING THEIR TREATMENT INCLUDING HOUSECLEANING, GROCERIES, TRANSPORTATION COSTS, ETC.

WOMEN ROCK INC. (WOMEN ROCK) WAS FOUNDED IN 2010 AS A GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION LED BY THE PASSION AND DESIRE TO PROVIDE FREE MAMMOGRAMS TO WOMEN IN THE TEXOMA REGION, WHILE ALSO PROVIDING BREAST CANCER VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS WITH A THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES HEALING, FELLOWSHIP AND SUPPORT. ENHANCING BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AND PROVIDING EDUCATION ON THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DETECTION IN TEXOMA COMMUNITIES IS THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE ORGANIZATION.

THE MISSION OF AUTISTIC WOMEN & NONBINARY NETWORK (AWN) IS TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY, SUPPORT & RESOURCES FOR AUTISTIC WOMEN, GIRLS, NONBINARY PEOPLE, AND ALL OTHERS OF MARGINALIZED GENDERS. IN FULFILLMENT OF OUR MISSION, AWN SELF-PUBLISHED 2 ANTHOLOGIES: ALL THE WEIGHT OF OUR DREAMS: ON LIVING RACIALIZED AUTISM & WHAT EVERY AUTISTIC GIRL WISHES HER PARENTS KNEW. THE LATTER HAS BEEN PICKED UP BY BEACON PUBLISHING FOR REPUBLICATION IN 2021. AWN HOSTS EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, AUTISM ACCEPTANCE EVENTS, SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES WITH THE FOCUS ON MULTIPLY MARGINALIZED DISABLED PEOPLE, BOOK READINGS AND DISCUSSIONS CENTERING ON AUTISM AND DISABILITY, AND SOCIAL GATHERING MEETUPS WHICH PROVIDES COMMUNITY CONNECTION. (AFH), IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION FOUNDED IN 1982 AND WAS AMONG TEXAS' FIRST ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO HIV PREVENTION EDUCATION AND SERVICES. AIH PROVIDES STABILIZING AND PREVENTION SERVICES INCLUDING TESTING, SUPPORT SERVICES, EDUCATION, BENEFITS AND RESOURCES COUNSELING, CASE MANAGEMENT, HOUSING, AND FOOD AND NUTRITION ASSISTANCE TO THE COMMUNITY AND LOW-INCOME, HIV+ MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN.
