TO EASE THE STRESSFUL FINANCIAL STRAINS ASSOCIATED WITH CANCER AND TO ALLOW PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO FOCUS ON THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - THEIR JOURNEY THROUGH CANCER. GRANTS CAN BE USED AT THE RECIPIENT'S DISCRETION FOR ANYTHING THEY MAY NEED DURING THEIR TREATMENT INCLUDING HOUSECLEANING, GROCERIES, TRANSPORTATION COSTS, ETC.

WOMEN ROCK INC. (WOMEN ROCK) WAS FOUNDED IN 2010 AS A GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION LED BY THE PASSION AND DESIRE TO PROVIDE FREE MAMMOGRAMS TO WOMEN IN THE TEXOMA REGION, WHILE ALSO PROVIDING BREAST CANCER VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS WITH A THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES HEALING, FELLOWSHIP AND SUPPORT. ENHANCING BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AND PROVIDING EDUCATION ON THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DETECTION IN TEXOMA COMMUNITIES IS THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE ORGANIZATION.

To provide Southeast Texas extensive educational outreach that focuses on breast, prostate, testicular, ovarian and other gynecological cancers; free mammograms and prostate screenings with access to follow-up treatment for medically underserved men and women.

ORGANIZATION'S MISSION OR MOST SIGNFICANT ACTIVITIES TO PROVIDE, FREE OF CHARGE, ONE BEAUTIFUL IT'S A WRAP OR GOOD WISHES SCARF TO WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN EXPERIENCING THE THINNING OR LOSS OF HAIR AS A RESULT OF ILLNESS OR TREATMENT, TO IN SOME SMALL WAY, EASE THEIR JOURNEY. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A SMALL BIT OF COMFORT AND SHARE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING AND GOOD WISHES WITH THESE INDIVIDUALS ON THEIR PATH TO HEALING AND RECOVERY.

CANCER SUPPORT SERVICES, INC (THE ORGANIZATION") PROVIDES FREE SERVICES TO MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN FACING ANY TYPE OF CANCER. THE ORGANIZATION INCREASES NATIONWIDE CANCER FIGHTERS' ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE BY PROVIDING FREE OVERNIGHT HOUSING TO THOSE WHO NEED TO BE NEAR AIKEN/AUGUSTA CANCER TREATMENT AND CANNOT AFFORD HOTELS. THE ORGANIZATION FURTHER INCREASES ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE BY PROVIDING GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA CANCER FIGHTERS CRITICALLY NEEDED TRANSPORTAION TO CANCER TREATMENT. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO GRANTS FUNDS FOR RENT, UTILITY, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE TO AREA GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA CANCER FIGHTERS AND HOSPICE PATIENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD THESE BASIC EXPENSES. THE ORGANIZATION'S SERVICES SUPPORT INCLUDES ONGOING CORRESPONDENCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT EVERY MONTH FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR TO CANCER PATIENTS FACING DEPRESSION, ISOLATION, FEARS, AND ANXIETIES. DURING THE PANDEMIC, THE AGENCY NEVER CLOSED, REMAINING OPEN EVERY DAY. SERVING CANCER FIGHTERS SINCE

THE HOPE AND FRIENDSHIP METASTATIC BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT, 501(C)(3) VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION IN WILMINGTON, MA ENHANCING THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND MEN WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF METASTATIC BREAST CANCER (STAGE IV), AND THEIR FAMILIES, BY OFFERING SUPPORT GROUPS, RESOURCES FOR LEARNING AND NETWORKING, THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND CREATIVE RETREATS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS RESEARCH FOCUSED ON METASTATIC BREAST CANCER TREATMENTS.

TO CREATE AWARENESS AMONG WOMEN AND THE GREATER COMMUNITY REGARDING EARLY WARNING SIGNS THAT MAY BE INDICATIVE OF OVARIAN CANCER, RESULTING IN EARLIER DETECTION; TO PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR SUPPORT, NETWORKING AND EDUCATION FOR WOMEN DIAGNOSED WITH OVARIAN CANCER AND THEIR CAREGIVERS; AND TO SUPPORT RESEARCH FOR EARLY DETECTION AND A CURE.
