Rehabilitation Services for Offenders

THE CENTER FOR WOMEN IN TRANSITION PARTNERS WITH WOMEN IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM TO SUPPORT THEIR SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO FAMILY AND COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE REENTRY SERVICES AND ADVOCACY. ALL SERVICES ARE BASED ON PRINCIPLES OF (SEE SCHEDULE O)RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, AND ARE EVIDENCE INFORMED, GENDER RESPONSIVE, AND STRENGTHS BASED.

To support healthy relationships and end the trauma that children of incarcerated mothers face.

To rebuild individuals and families for a healthy community by addressing social and economic barriers to reduce recidivism. MWP is dedicated to rebuilding safe, healthy, and whole communities in a collaborate effort of public and private resources. The organization's comprehensive program focuses on the multiple factors that are related to social and economic problems for high-risk behavior, recidivism, chronic jobless and homeless.

WOSMOH IS A NON PROFIT COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SUPPORT TO YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN THAT MAY HAVE BEEN INCARCERATED AND/OR ARE IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM.

GROW OFFERS WOMEN THAT ARE RECENTLY RELEASED FROM INCARCERATION A SAFE AND SECURE HOME IN WHICH TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES. ADDITIONALLY, GROW OFFERS A VARIETY OF SERVICES DESIGNED TO HELP THEM BUILD CONFIDENCE AND LIFE SKILLS.

PROVIDING MENTORSHIP AND SUPPORT TO WOMEN

The operation of schools where students learn vocational, pro-social,and life skills so they can succeed on "the other side". Students are men and women pre- and post-sentencing and those within jails and prisons; as well as, convicts, substance abusers, homeless, and others.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO FORMERLY INCARCERATED MEN AND WOMEN IN ORDER TO HELP THEM REINTEGRATE INTO THEIR COMMUNITIES THEREBY ACHIEVING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC WELL BEING AND BREAKING THE CYCLE OF RECIDIVISM.

EMPOWERING WOMEN TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF ADDICTION, HOMELESSNESS, AND INCARCERATION.

PETS HELPING PEOPLE, INC. PROVIDES TRAINING FOR WOMEN WITH CRIMINAL OR CHALLENGED BACKGROUNDS, AND ASSISTS IN PREPARING THEM FOR CAREERS IN THE PET CARE INDUSTRY.

LEAP IS DEDICATED TO HELPING INCARCERATED WOMEN TRANSCEND THEIR PAST. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE GRADUATES WITH THE TOOLS AND SUPPORT NECESSARY TO SUSTAIN THEMSELVES POST-RELEASE BY ESTABLISHING THEIR OWN SMALL BUSINESS OR OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT. THE EFFORTS MADE BY LEAP HELP TO REJUVINATE THE LOCAL WORKFORCE, LESSEN THE STRAIN ON LOCAL RESOURCES, HELP REDUCE CRIME IN OUR COMMUNITIES AND REDUCE RECIDIVISM.

OUR MISSION IS TO WORK TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM BY ADVOCATING FOR AND PROVIDING SERVICES TO WOMEN WHO ARE REENTERING LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITIES. WE WORK TO BUILD ALLIANCES, COLLABORATIONS, AND NETWORKS TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGES IN POLICIES THAT NEGATIVELY IMPACT WOMEN INVOLVED IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM.

The Freedom Education Project Puget Sound (FEPPS) offers a rigorous college program inside the Washington Correction Center for Women (WCCW) and works to increase access to educational opportunity for women prisoners and former prisoners in Washington state. Students in our program earn credit toward an associate of arts and science degree.

THE CORE VALUES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE TO PROMOTE A HOLISTIC APPROACH BY PROVIDING SAFE HOUSING AND ADDRESSING THE TRAUMA WOMEN HAVE ENDURED BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER INCARCERATION. THE GOAL IS TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM RATES WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY RESTORING THE LIVES OF THE RESIDENTS AND THE GREATER COMMUNITY.

TO PROVIDE HEALING, HOUSING, LIFE SKILLS, AND EMPLOYMENT FOR WOMEN SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING, ADDICTION, AND SEXUAL TRAUMA.
