HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN, INC.'S ("HOW") MISSION IS TO EMPOWER WOMEN, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO PERMANENTLY BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS. FOR THE1,000 INDIVIDUALS HOW SERVES EVERY YEAR WE PROVIDE PERMANENTSUPPORTIVE HOUSING, HELP INDIVIDUALS INCREASE THEIR INCOME AND ACCESSTO BENEFITS AND IMPROVE OUR CLIENTS TO OVERCOME THE MULTIPLE BARRIERSTHAT OFTEN PREVENT HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS FROM ACHIEVING THEIR HIGHESTAND BEST POTENTIAL.

We offer compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children. We specialize in fresh starts – letting survivors lead the way in creating their own paths forward. We serve everyone – cis women and men, transgender and nonbinary people – because everyone is welcome, everyone belongs. We offer housing at our historic building in Midtown Indianapolis, as well as across more than fifteen zip codes through our community-based housing program. Breaking the cycle of abuse creates stronger people, stronger families and – ultimately – stronger communities.

Phoenixville Womens Outreach empowers women to self-sufficiency, stability, and independence by providing a comprehensive transitional housing program, affordable housing, supportive services, advocacy and education.

JOSEPH'S HOUSE FOR WOMEN, INC. PROMOTES THE SANCTITY OF LIFE AND THE DIGNITY OF WOMEN BY PROVIDING A NURTURING HOME FOR PREGNANT AND PARENTING WOMEN WHO ARE FACING HOMELESSNESS. JOSEPH'S HOUSE PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL, LONG TERM CARE FOR WOMEN IN CRISIS PREGNANCY AND THEIR CHILDREN THAT IS ROOTED IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH AND PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE, FAITH-BASED APPROACH. SERVICES FOCUS ON PROVIDING STABILIZATION AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESTORATION AND TRANSFORMATION BY ADDRESSING THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING OF A MOTHER AND HER CHILD. THIS INCLUDES CASE MANAGEMENT, A LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM, COUNSELING, AND SUPPORTIVE STAFF IN THE HOME 24/7/365. JOSEPH'S HOUSE SERVES ON AVERAGE OVER 100 MOTHERS AND CHILDREN EACH YEAR.WE RELY ON VOLUNTEER SUPPORT IN MULTIPLE AREAS OF SERVICE SUCH AS CHILDCARE, PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, AND SPECIAL PROJECTS. THE BIRDIES FOR BABIES GOLF TOURNAMENT IS THE LARGEST ANNUAL FUNDRAISER. THE ORGANIZATION RELIES ON INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE PHILANTHROPI

Providing emergency shelter to long-term housing with holistic care services and programs to homeless individuals and their children who are in need of crisis intervention and advocacy through referrals, coordiantion and collaboration with other community service providers.

TO PROVIDE HOMELESS WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN THE BAKERSFIELD AREA WITH INNOVATIVE AND HOLISTIC SERVICES IN A SUSTAINABLE MODEL THAT SUPPORTS THEIR TRANSITION TO PERMANAENT HOUSING AND STABLE EMPLOYMENT.

THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SHELTER, SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO HOMELESS, SINGLE WOMEN AND HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN IN FRANKLIN AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. THE SHELTER PROVIDES DIRECT ASSISTANCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS.

OUR MISSION IS TO HELP REBUILD THE LIVES OF WOMEN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED TRAUMA, ADDICTION, AND INCARCERATION THROUGH SAFE HOUSING, LONG-TERM SUPPORT, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS.

Sheltering women and children from violent situations

The Organization works to permanently break the cycle of homelessness by providing homeless women with children access to safe shelter, onsite childcare, in-house mental health counseling, access to health care, transportation, education, nutrition, job training, and life skills education in a safe, Christ-centered residential setting. The 12-to-24-month program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility, and goal advancement.

THE MISSION OF THE ANACORTES FAMILY CENTER IS TO SERVE HOMELESS WOMEN, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN CRISIS BY PROVIDING SHELTER IN ADDITION TO COMPREHENSIVE TRANSFORMATIONAL SERVICES TO ACHIEVE LONG LASTING PERSONAL SUCCESS AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

Equipping women through the love of Christ to rebuild, renew, and restore their lives from the effects of abuse and addiction.
