We offer compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children. We specialize in fresh starts – letting survivors lead the way in creating their own paths forward. We serve everyone – cis women and men, transgender and nonbinary people – because everyone is welcome, everyone belongs. We offer housing at our historic building in Midtown Indianapolis, as well as across more than fifteen zip codes through our community-based housing program. Breaking the cycle of abuse creates stronger people, stronger families and – ultimately – stronger communities.
Our community of supporters is vibrant and does meaningful work. From developing programs for our residents, helping with facility projects, engaging with Children’s Services, joining a committee, organizing donations, hosting supply drives and more – Coburn Place volunteers make our world go around. Your skills can change lives.
Volunteering is a great way for your group to build your team and inspire camaraderie while giving back to your community. It’s great for families and friends as well. We have wonderful opportunities for you to make a difference for someone in need.
