THE HEART OF TEXAS FOUNDATION COLLEGE OF MINISTRY TAKES THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST INTO THE DARKEST OF PLACES IN THE TEXAS PRISON SYSTEM THROUGH OUR BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAM, WHICH EDUCATES MEN AND WOMEN WITH LONG-TERM PRISON SENTENCES. GRADUATES OF THE HEART OF TEXAS FOUNDATION COLLEGE OF MINISTRY ARE ALLOWED TO SERVE THEIR PEERS AS FIELD MINISTERS THROUGHOUT THE TEXAS PRISON SYSTEM.

PROVIDING RELIEF OF THE POOR, RELIEF OF THE DISTRESSED, PROMOTE HEALTH, TO EDUCATE, LESSEN COMMUNITY TENSIONS, DEFENDING HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS SECURED BY LAW, AND COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. SHOP WITH AN OFFICER PROVIDES FUNDS TO PURCHASE CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR NEEDY CHILDREN AND GIVES THE CHILDREN AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH A POLICE OFFICER IN A POSITIVE MANNER WHICH LESSENS TENSIONS BETWEEN OFFICERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

TO EMPOWER ENTREPRENEURS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO TRANSFORM LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOOD ECONOMIES FROM WITHIN.

TO PRESERVE AND IMPROVE LIVABILITY FOR ALL RESIDENTS OF THE CULTURALLY DIVERSE NEIGHBORHOODS OF INNER NORTH/NORTHEST PORTLAND BY ASSURING THE AVAILABILITY OF LONG-TERM AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR ITS LOW AND MODERATE INCOME RESIDENTS.

THE FOUNDATION SERVES AS THE SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO CLOVER NOLA, INC., A LOUISIANA NON-PROFIT CORPORATION. THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.

THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A FOOD BANK WHICH PROVIDES FOOD FOR AT RISK HOUSEHOLDS.

Semi-Independent Apartment Project with 11 units for Chronic Mentally Ill adults that is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD.

To respond to any emergencies and/or designated struggles affecting the Greater NJ Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, including providing long term assistance.
