"The Benedictus Association was founded shortly before the construction of the Neustift Monastery on 19.09.1921 as a support association under the former name "Anbetungsverein e.V.". "The Sisters of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St Benedict are a group of religious women within the Catholic Church who seek God – the God who impels us to be neighbour. We were the first religious Congregation founded in Australia, and as our name suggests, our work and prayer are both enlivened by the Parable of the Good Samaritan and nourished by the ancient wisdom of the Rule of St Benedict. Dhamma Makaranda, Néctar de la Flor del Dhamma, es el nombre en pali dado por S.N. Goenka al primer centro de meditación Vipassana en América Latina, que se encuentra en México. Está ubicado en San Bartolo Amanalco, a pocos kilómetros de Valle de Bravo, un pequeño pueblo colonial a orillas de un lago. El centro se encuentra a unas dos horas de la Ciudad de México y se puede llegar fácilmente desde diversos puntos del país.

The objective of Vipassana Trust (Dhamma Sukhakari) is to advance the teachings of the Buddha for the public benefit by organising and running courses of Vipassana meditation as taught by S. N. Goenka, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.The courses are offered completely free of charge and staffed by un-paid volunteers. People from all walks of life attend course.
